Far to much positivity for this version of venkys rovers this week with a good win and talk of a couple of exciting signings through the door.

I expect these to improve as the season goes on (as Manning's Bristol City seemed to do last year) so this is probably a good time to play them.

 

It seems like they're (another!) team that plays out from the back with defenders who aren't up to it, so hopefully we can take advantage of that.

I’ve got to go with Rovers. Two more signings through the door (not that they will provide immediate help) who should eventually boost the club. Defending looking good,

Agreed, normally when there is a bit of positivity around here, we do indeed come crashing back to earth.

Plus we haven't beat Norwich at Ewood since our Premier League days.

Seem to be a bogey side at home for us, but funnily enough we seem to have done ok at there place in the venkys era.

Indeed - although not in year 1! Massive deflection and a dodgy pen in the last ten minutes making a draw out of what seemed like an easy win.

Norwich are weird.

Lost all 3 home games including a 3-0 reverse home to Southampton two days ago 

But

Won both away games by 2-1 at Portsmouth and Watford....

After watching Rovers since pre season, and in to the new season, I'm feeling a lot more confident. The newcomers are beginning to gel with the team, I'm confident we can get results this season.

I believe he had an op in Switzerland, the deal was done when it was known the op was a success and he might be available after the international break.

I only saw this for the first time in an announcement from the club on their website. It's about supporter behaviour but contains the following:

Supporters should also be aware of the club’s bag policy when entering the stadium.

To make Ewood Park safe for everyone, restrictions are in place on what you can bring in a bag into the stadium. Each supporter can only bring one small bag and it must not be bigger than A4 size.

I know lots of supporters particularly in the family stand who take drinks and snacks in bags bigger than A4. For the life in me I can't see any logic behind a decision like this. Why don't they just say what the restrictions in the bag are.

It's almost like we have appointed a 'Head of Pissing People Off' whose job it is is to annoy supporters.
