MarkBRFC Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Far to much positivity for this version of venkys rovers this week with a good win and talk of a couple of exciting signings through the door. Rovers 0 Norwich 2, back down to earth with a thud, 1 Quote

Admiral Nelsen Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I expect these to improve as the season goes on (as Manning's Bristol City seemed to do last year) so this is probably a good time to play them. It seems like they're (another!) team that plays out from the back with defenders who aren't up to it, so hopefully we can take advantage of that. Quote

Rovers 0 Norwich 2, back down to earth with a thud, Your Liverpools and Man City's didn't win all those trophies with negative thoughts. We're in for a good hiding before a balls been kicked, what's wrong with positive thinking. 4-0 Rovers. 3 Quote
WacoRover Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I’ve got to go with Rovers. Two more signings through the door (not that they will provide immediate help) who should eventually boost the club. Defending looking good, Rovers, 2; Sarge 🇺🇸 , 1. Quote

Plus we haven't beat Norwich at Ewood since our Premier League days. Seem to be a bogey side at home for us, but funnily enough we seem to have done ok at there place in the venkys era. Quote

Ricceh Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Norwich selling arguably their best player to Ipswich. Yank owners. Quote
Tomphil2 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Bogey side at Ewood and the ultimate blow hot one min blow cold the next min club. A much sterner test than last week and Brum. Rovers 1 Norwich 1 Quote

Massive deflection and a dodgy pen in the last ten minutes making a draw out of what seemed like an easy win. Quote
philipl Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Norwich are weird. Lost all 3 home games including a 3-0 reverse home to Southampton two days ago But Won both away games by 2-1 at Portsmouth and Watford.... Quote

After watching Rovers since pre season, and in to the new season, I'm feeling a lot more confident. The newcomers are beginning to gel with the team, I'm confident we can get results this season. arbitro Posted August 28 Posted August 28 This is a strange move and is bound to upset the Norwich supporters. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cz0yz8grknlo 1 Quote

Neal Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Score draw here 1-1. They're selling one of their best players to Ipswich which is odd and hopefully sets off some bad vibes within their camp. Quote

arbitro Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I only saw this for the first time in an announcement from the club on their website. It's about supporter behaviour but contains the following: Supporters should also be aware of the club’s bag policy when entering the stadium. To make Ewood Park safe for everyone, restrictions are in place on what you can bring in a bag into the stadium. Each supporter can only bring one small bag and it must not be bigger than A4 size. I know lots of supporters particularly in the family stand who take drinks and snacks in bags bigger than A4. For the life in me I can't see any logic behind a decision like this. Why don't they just say what the restrictions in the bag are. It's almost like we have appointed a 'Head of Pissing People Off' whose job it is is to annoy supporters. 7 Quote
