RevidgeBlue Posted Saturday at 15:55 Posted Saturday at 15:55 Well, second half was as bad as the first half was good. We offered absolutely nothing after they scored, and worryingly the body language of the players second half was absolutely appalling. I fear the game's already up. 1 Quote
neophox Posted Saturday at 15:55 Posted Saturday at 15:55 To be fair the big difference today was that Coventry have some goalscorers and confidence... something we surely miss Tough season ahead as we all know 1 Quote
davulsukur Posted Saturday at 15:55 Posted Saturday at 15:55 Absolutely torrid last 30mins. Dreadful stuff. Down by Xmas. Quote

Bronzed A Donis Posted Saturday at 15:56 Posted Saturday at 15:56 We're too easy to find a way to beat, soft underbelly, too many if onlys, going one way this season. 4 Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted Saturday at 15:58 Posted Saturday at 15:58 Don't think anyone expected anything from today, and certainly no shame in losing away to the team now top of the table, but the last 30 mins or so certainly summed up the state of things at the moment. 4 points minimum from the next two games is vital. I think they'll do well to get 2 points though. Quote

Losing becomes a habit when your 1-0 down in your head and the oppositions before kick off. 2 1 Quote

Popular Post Kjell Posted Saturday at 16:04 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 16:04 Our current situation is a direct result of the disgraceful actions of Rudy Gestede. He is just as detrimental to this club as Jerome Anderson was. It’s time for him to go. We also need to have a competent Championship CEO in place well before the January transfer window. To achieve our short-term goal of survival, we need to bring in at least 4 to 5 experienced players.. 17 Quote

Some good signs today, bossed the form team on their own pitch, but it must be difficult when you've put so much effort in, then your keeper who's had virtually nowt to do lets one in like that. 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted Saturday at 16:11 Posted Saturday at 16:11 Dont want to hear about parts of the game where we played well. Thatll be the story of this season, we deserved more, we played well, woe is me. We quite simply do not have the quality, any goal threat, we have lost/let go our defensive solidity, and we lack the experience and guidance to manage games properly. We are in deep trouble. The manager with the record he has should be out the door, even with a poor squad albeit one he apparently endorsed the building of. His subs today were really strange and he seemed to give up and aim to limit the damage. But his job is safe as houses and will be in League 1. There is a real issue up front, the recruitment in general has been poor and built purely around cutting the wage bill. But Gestede really has pulled 2 rabbits out of the bag in Gudjohnsen and Gueye. And not in a good way. 5 Quote

Good signs. "Good signs" against Birmingham too, when we "deserved more." Games tend to be decided on fine margins. With what we have, I suspect there will be lots more bemoaning of hard luck, claiming to have played well and constantly awaiting that "our luck turns." 1 Quote

Yep, slightly unsighted but people would have been calling Pears up hill and down dale if he'd let one in straight under his body like that. 1 Quote
JonJonTheDon Posted Saturday at 16:14 Posted Saturday at 16:14 Serious question, if/when we don’t get any points in the next 2 at home. Will this manager get the sack? There’s gotta be someone out of work that can make us harder to beat. 1 Quote

I've only seen it once but it looked as if Henrikson was able to block that shot but he was asleep. Quote

And not in a good way. Don't disagree with anything you say but at least Gueye has had some good games under a different Head Coach. Based on what I've seen so far I doubt Merlin the Magician could get a tune out of Gudjohnssen. Quote

There probably is, but he either won't apply for our job, or we won't interview him, we'll go with someone even cheaper and worse than VI, probably give them a 4 year deal. Quote

WacoRover Posted Saturday at 16:23 Posted Saturday at 16:23 What I fear, the word is out on Rovers: Potential coaches/managers hear, don’t go there! Owners get rid of quality Championship players, or let ‘em walk, & bring in cut rate int’l players. The jig is up. yes, I’d say we need to get used to the idea of playing in League 1 next season.
