Qpr paying £5 million for Ronnie Edwards at Southampton.

Overpriced for me but  depressing they can be paying those sort of fees whilst we scour the bargain bin and go to clubs with our begging bowl for loans asking the parent club to pay most their wages in exchange for us guaranteeing minutes

We can, we just won’t.

Where has the money gone?

This kid we are linked with is probably just to replace the little ingrate who will be off to Arsenal as soon as terms are agreed.

If we mean Axel Bronner, he doesn't turn 18 until April, so if Rovers are interested, that deal cannot be completed in January.

International transfers can only be completed after a player turns 18

Clubs can agree these moves in advance for them to complete in the summer, but I would think that is unlikely in Rovers case.  After all, we don't know what division we will be in next season

Biggest mistake seems to have been letting Leonard go on the cheap. 8 goals and 3 assists this season already. I know a lot of us wanted him to stay, he would have ended up getting a decent amount of game time here this season.

Axel Bronner won't cost 1m. No way. Norrköping was relegated and he was one of the bright spots in that team making his debut in Allsvenskan. Could be a good signing potentially.

Do you have a source? Don’t think that’s the case, I believe it was a rule put in place more for African youth players and such.

It is worth noting that English clubs will be prevented from signing players from foreign clubs under the age of 18, once Brexit has been formalised.

It is why

Arsenal example - The highly rated 16-year-olds who have grown up in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, will arrive at the club when they turn 18.

Chelsea example - Estêvão would join the club in the summer of 2025, on his eighteenth birthday

and if he's as bad as the Brummies say, we will still have to play him or very likely suffer a financial penalty!

Madness!

Don't listen to what other fans say, he'll probably end up slumming it at Espanyol with Dolan.

I've no idea what the state of his back injury was but I always thought he looked like he had ability.

Having been sent to Coventry in finest Gueye fashion it seems as though his major crime was to stick up for that female member of staff who got sacked.

Hope he continues his good form and has a fantastic career. Can see he had talent. Just another one chased out the door by Rudy.

A little titbit I've heard from a good source on Cantwell. As captain he fronted up 3 of the first team squad for going out the Friday before a match despite it being a club rule. Of the 3 in question one has since moved, one is linked with a move and one doesn't move (I'm sure you can work out who they are).

Apparently they were all sanctioned financially (5k from what I have heard) and there is a bit of resentment towards the captain from them because of it. Having said that, he is loved and respected by the rest of the dressing room and is a top bloke.

It’s a FIFA rule (I’ve only left in the first exception as the other four definitely don’t apply to this player):

When did the person who "has moved" move?

Im only really getting Gueye vibes out of those 3. Pickering? Forshaw?

It's a club rule to go out the night before a match?

Explains a lot.

Let's just say the one I said had moved hasn't moved yet - I thought he had. 2nd 2 are incorrect and both were signed in the summer.

One is definitely Tavares...Strikes me as someone who isn't arsed.
