RoversTilliDie Posted Thursday at 11:22 Posted Thursday at 11:22 Sheff Wed will be up for this one, and probably bring a big crowd with them. We need to focus 100%. Quote
RoversTilliDie Posted Thursday at 11:26 Posted Thursday at 11:26 Does anybody know, how many tickets Sheff Wed have sold. Quote

I think an extra 1500 has been allocated. 2 Quote

Doesn't do anything he can't do, keeps it simple. If hes not ready to push De Neve then there is something wrong. 1 Quote
WacoRover Posted Thursday at 13:01 Posted Thursday at 13:01 A hearty amen to all that has been said- a must-win game, owls are L1 bound, etc. I look for the difference-maker- that would be Cantwell, if 100%. The guy we need production from- Ohashi. It’s been a month since he scored, vs Derby. The guy most likely to score: Gudjohnsen. The club did its work, getting this guy on-board. Prediction: Rovers, 2-1. I’m tired of fretting & catastrophizing every game. Can’t be anything else but a Rovers win. 1 Quote

arbitro Posted Thursday at 13:41 Posted Thursday at 13:41 It's quite simple for me after having seen Wednesday play several times this season. Stop Bannon and a huge part of any threat they offer is nullified. 4 Quote

superniko Posted Thursday at 14:11 Posted Thursday at 14:11 I have a horrible feeling about this one - when was the last time we put in a clinical performance when expectation was high? Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted Thursday at 15:14 Posted Thursday at 15:14 (edited) A Club in admin versus a Club that are being run like one in admin. This match could end up like two bald men fighting over a comb. I suppose if nothing else, if we get beaten, it will shoot holes in the "Where would we be without Venky's?" argument. Ossydave Posted Thursday at 19:36 Posted Thursday at 19:36 I expected a bit of a revival from the Owls following the Chansiri seats getting ripped out etc but it hasn’t materialised, yet Will the further points deduction up the eff you EFL mentality and spur them on? They really have nothing to lose and go into every game needing to at least try and win, which may slightly work in our favour rather than playing a team happy to sit back. Questionable subs and game management our biggest issue lately, not even going down the ref blaming road it’s pathetic, regardless of some shite decisions. Another 1-1 draw probably the most likely result although no use to either team, so we have to hope we can somehow fathom a 2-1 win. Quote

The further deduction must have everyone thinking about next year in League One. Totally devastating with 60% of the season still to play. But I guess those with nothing to lose can be the most dangerous Quote

davulsukur Posted Friday at 11:09 Posted Friday at 11:09 Really, really not looking forward to this. When do Rovers EVER do anything the easy way? Was only the other season we really needed to beat Sheff Wed at home to give us the best chance of staying up (might have been enough to keep us up?) and we turned in an absolute horror show and lost 1-3. Instead we went and drew with Coventry and then turned champions Leicester over in their own back yard to secure safety. Quote
MarkBRFC Posted Friday at 12:27 Posted Friday at 12:27 Sheffield Wednesday will be looking at this thinking they can get a rare win so them and there fans will be right up for it. Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted Friday at 12:30 Posted Friday at 12:30 Cant win this then turn the Ewood lights off. Quote
SuperBrfc Posted Friday at 12:30 Posted Friday at 12:30 I think tomorrow's the day we finally see out a 1-0 win, accompanied with frustration about why we couldn't do that in the previous two games. There's enough about our first 11 and recent performances to suggest things are going to pick up soon, IMO. A nostalgic look back on this fixture from 1997. 20 minute highlights: 1 Quote

roversfan99 Posted Friday at 13:08 Posted Friday at 13:08 Hedges is out for a couple of weeks which presumably will turn into over a month as tends to happen now. Under no circumstances should he bring in the useless De Neve. 4 Quote
