  6. mmm ..full circle the irony is Big Sam had this on his CV
  7. Exactly - nobody mentioned about interrupting it - more about using it to our advantage Would it still go ahead though if we went into administration?
  8. Question - if the club goes into administration - could this still go ahead? For me light bulbs should be pinging here - we surely have to be able to use this to our advantage somehow
  9. Interesting but why not reported closer to home? http://www.thewestmorlandgazette.co.uk/news/14509837._We_ve_got_our_identity_back______Eric_Kinder_on_the_talent_rolling_off_the_Blackburn_Rovers_academy_production_line/
  10. Regardless of whether they are getting burnt by him, just goes to show how ridiculous the whole situation is and what is wrong throughout the game - especially when you have countless 'tea ladies' losing their jobs.
  11. Might also instill a bit of pride and loyalty in the shirt and badge if they do make it ( however unlikely in might seem in this day and age ) Regardless, its still an achievement whatever the shirt that is being worn just makes it better with it being in the Blue n White As ME states above hopefully they will win - positive mental attitude - and drive them on to bigger and better things
  12. Sadly we have to say goodbye to another member again - a great poster and always made me laugh with his own unique way of posting. RIP Tashor our thoughts and condolences go out to your family and friends.
  13. Sadly another member of the Blue n White army passes away RIP and condolences to family and friends

  15. Sad, sad news , rest in piece fellow blue an white. Condolences to his family and friends
  16. Part of my early years of following Rovers, a true wearer of the shirt imo probably should have scored more than he did but certainly partnered well with Garner. probably reason he didn't get the admiration his workrate and gameplay should have done RIP Chris will be remembered fondly and our thoughts go out to your family.
  17. Just got around to updating on this - despite the initial problem of being overbooked/too many off the street- once we had got sorted (party of x17) - service and food where excellent and would definitely recommend.
  18. Anbody been here lately can give an uptodate report - heading down here Monday night all being well
  19. Worrying? Not the first time they have done this - used to do it regular before - also at the Moorings.
  20. Would that be the alarm to advise you of your game of golf Theno?
  21. ..... it might be just me Theno but I feel some people on here may see some irony in this comment
  22. beg to differ on that Nicko .. he has got the bite of experience and staring position in the Premier now and has not looked out of place with our bunch of misfits. Given the support he would get from the talent at Chelski never mind just the midlfield - given a starting berth a suspect we would see an even better player. May not make the impact of Drogba but would certainly receive acclaim imo.
  23. See my earlier post BB - according to Hammers fans - the Stewards where apparently helping people onto the field - whether this was for safety reasons or not is anybody's guess at the moment -also after the first goal the less than preventative nature of the stewards from letting people get on to the pitch seemed to be picked up upon by the fans which is probably why there were the x3 pitch invasions. Yet again though - from the Stewards account on the radio - there were not enough for the game ( like the police) and some didn't even want to be on duty for this game anyway. Strange reading the articles now but its saying there where 500 police on duty with riot police and horses as back up - I'm sure there were more than this for our previous exploits against our friends down the road on both occasions.
  24. I have no doubt on this also Hasta but the way the media portray it its as if it was going off all over the place. There will have been old scores trying to be settled no doubt last night ( and appearances by 'old faces') and even in the interviews I have heard and reports there where incidents of a violence - but the World War scenario being banded about makes it seem nobdy has ever been or seen 'violence' at a game before. If it was violent as being made out - I would have expected to have heard more incidents throughout London rather than outside and inside the ground. As mentioned by fans and Stewards there where not enough Police, but from all accounts the Police did a good job , however from Hammers fans accounts the Stewards where helping some onto the field - now whether that was for safety reasons I have no idea but there appears to have been alot of incidents snowballed into 'violent' hysteria.
