It was a nice gesture and irrelevant what he earned. I still don't blame jack one bit though. -
Newcastle. Due to the shirt looking like a barcode. Did Butterworth play and how has he been doing. Was brilliant the last few games I saw him and did well in his cameo against Lincoln. Would consider giving him a place on the bench against Newcastle
-
Is he available for loan ? Should imagine a few teams would be in for him. I'd have him here but would nyambe then drop to the bench. Could hamper his development, could push him and make him a better player . Holgate would be decent for us imo

How's candlin and lyons looked since signing. Seen both play twice but didn't really stand out but that was recently after signing. Any progress ?

Id like dental records, access to his online spending habits and his family history of diabetes and heart conditions etc also. His family tree would be helpful as we don't want anyone with a bloodline link to a dingle in our ranks Thanks in advance

I'm not getting to excited about this window. We will more than likely bring one in on loan and then hear the it isn't the best time of year to be buying players with inflated prices and we will revisit in the summer. We've got a good set of lads who know what I expect from them and young Travis and Joe are chomping at the bit. etc etc. If someone does come in it will take him til pre season learn " tonys way". Answers on a postcard if anyone knows what that is.

The 7 million would have been better spent on gallagher. He looks twice the player ben is. Wayne Routledge is available from Swansea. Anyone think he could be a good addition Wouldn't mind the goalie archer from millwall either .

After the big six have played match of the day is an extended version of the championship. There is some really poor fixtures considering it's "the best league in the world". -

He scored last week aswell. Maybe a cheeky ten million bid in January. I didn't see the game today so can't comment on that but the overall picture is this isn't the first time this season we have thrown away leads. Raya didn't give penalties away in the other games so one would have to assume there is a deeper rooted problem. I still believe 2-1 up at home with ten minutes left we should be able to see that game out. If it was solely an individual error we wouldn't have conceded so many points from winning positions -

I really enjoyed it and hope they make many more programmes like this. It's weird. I rated Grayson as a manger and thought coleman was one of the most over rated managers in football. After seeing that the tables have completely turned. I don't believe anyone could have saved Sunderland last year. -

I think they have made jack a scapegoat and believed this even before he signed for us. They offered him a deal. He signed it and was available for selection. They froze him out. He was entitled to every penny he received from Sunderland and I dare anyone to tell me they would have took between a 30 and 50 grand a week pay cut because the club could no longer afford you. That's the finance people's issue not Jack's. It's ok making out it's Jack's fault that Sunderland had to make redundnacies and couldn't sign players. Why don't the people who made the decision to sign him and drew up his contract tear there contracts up and free up some funds for the minimum wage positions being lost it is after all there fault. If he refused to play then that's different but that wasn't the case. -

Have to agree. Even after raya gave the penalty away we where still winning with ten minutes to go. A team with any organisation, character and tenacity would see that game out. -
Why do we concede so many last minute goals?

So up until the penalty did we play well ? Anybody have a good game ? Brereton came on in place of graham like most people have asked for , how did that work out ? Did he show any signs of promise ? how did Armstrong play ? How did Evans play after his new contract ? ? -

He has been phenomenal this season. He's got to be in Leicesters match day squad at a minimum next season -

This is now on Netflix for anyone interested. Just started watching it. Be interested to see Jack Rodwell, and Jason Steele leaking goals -
Imo Evans isnt anywhere near as good as Bennett in the middle, who is a centre mid imo, Rodwell can do everything Evans can with more composure and has the adage of height and can fill in at cb. Whilst we are neither going up nor down we should be phasing Travis in who I believe will go on to be a far better player than Evans is and if it's a choice between Smallwood and Evans I would have Smallwood. They are both of similar ability and quality. I'd argue Smallwood has more heart and is a better tackler and Evans has better positional sense and slightly better passing range but not enough to contribute going forward. I'd rather have a ball winner as a squad player and replace Evans with the player Evans never quite was
-
I think both Evans and Smallwood both desperately need replacing in the summer. With a new cm, preferably Reed on a permanent deal and Travis coming through with Bennett, Rodwell and Smallwood as cover I don't see the need for him. I'm struggling to understand why all of the above players have new deals when we are supposedly re building for the future. The telegraph has already allured to player unrest at lack of opportunity. If we add one or two in January and one or two in summer who makes way when virtually all have new contracts til 2021
-
I would of let him go. Not what we need going forward. With Rodwell, Bennett, Travis and Smallwood he is surplus to requirements. Not sure handing two and three year contracts to players that have got us relagated and will at best keep us mid table is the way forward
-
Im convinced we have a good striker and goalscorer in Armstrong. Granted this season apart from Rotherham where he was excellent on the left he has been poor and his finishing has also let him down but I believe it's down to confidence and lack of faith put in him. I'm not saying he should be in front of graham, I think we can all agree he is the number one striker at the club but Armstrong is a goalscorer, not a winger. Given a chance and a run of games with the backing of the manager he would score goals at this level. I thought he was signed as an alternative to Graham not as a wide man as used in the promotion season
