  1. My fault I think. It was pointed out to me very soon after they were posted and I forgot to send an amendment.
  2. Burnley’s 94th minute winner and Fleetwood winning means the chances of them getting through round 5 and therefore the derby game being moved have greatly increased.
  3. There was something odd about the BBC website tonight. I was on a train down to London so the signal was intermittent. When I started I had line-ups and live text, although there was precious little of the latter. I rebooted the site and then only had line-ups and scores, of which there none while I was on the train.
  4. It wasn't particularly our idea Herbie. Mike wrote the statement and sent it over yesterday but it got there after the club's statement had been issued. I presume they have just tagged it on.
  5. I bloody hope not. I've got a train down to London at 7pm to avoid tomorrow's strike.
  6. There's no chance either the BBC or ITV would reshuffle their schedules at short notice for a game like this.
  7. There is a statement from the Chair of the Fans Forum attached to the club statement on the website. I'm with JoeH. The particular focus right now is on the specific incident on Saturday. But anyone who has been to away games in recent months knows that fan behaviour is a growing problem amongst a certain minority of Rovers fans. It's not racism in most cases but there is plenty of pretty disgusting behaviour happening. It is very much a minority and I don't think it's specifically a Rovers problem but it's very much there and needs highlighting.
  8. There are 10.05 (Air France)and 10.55 (EasyJet) arrivals from Paris but none at 11.50.
  9. If that's true then he's flying in from either Copenhagen or Istanbul.
  10. Paul Fielder is Head of Commercial, effectively the same thing.
  11. On the other hand Forest should be a more attractive opposition than Big Club as a Premier League team. And whilst the Forest game was midweek it was right before Christmas when the kids were out of school.
  12. On Monday evening Birmingham had sold more tickets for this game than Rovers. There will obviously be a late rush at the reduced price and it will end up a decent crowd but there's no way there is going to be chaos.
  13. It’s probable that there will be cheap tickets now. Steve said at the Fans Forum last week that Forest Green would probably have wanted to make some money but he expected he could do a deal with Big Club.
  14. If we’re being literal it was Mike Cheston, not Steve Waggott.
  15. Staffing does continue to be a problem at Ewood, as was noted in the minutes. It’s a problem right across the hospitality industry so it’s hardly surprising that Rovers are suffering too. The workforce are obviously casual with work just on odd days. Unsurprisingly it was a real issue at the Cardiff game, when I guess a lot of the casual staff looked at their alarm early on New Year’s Day and rolled over.
