West Brom have put there season tickets for next season on sale today.

Would you sign Christian Walton
MarkBRFC replied to Prelude's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Tosin is somebody I could see going on loan to say a Southampton next season, and being bought by them for like £20m a year later, only for City to pay double that a couple of years after that to sign him back if he impresses. No chance is Walton is playing in the top flight next season, so fee depending that could be doable. -
With two home games to follow against average teams.... i really dont mean to put a downer on things because I'm ecstatic tonight but we know what happened the last time we started to believe, six without a win!
-
It's no coincidence in my opinion that we score 5 goals without Gallagher galloping up and down the wing not having a clue what he's meant to be doing. Really hope he's not back in the side next week.
-
3 points off the play offs. He said we were 6 points off 3rd. Anyway great win, concerned that with one more booking a two game ban is looming for Lenihan. The back 5 have been superb of late, could really do without it being interrupted!
-
I certainly understand the point given our owners track record, but it doesn't mean we should cling on to him until he doesn't fancy it anymore. I think he's done ok, and achieved what I would probably expect results wise so far during his time here despite some horrendous runs and baffling team selections, It sounds harsh considering what went on before him, but I do think he should have kept us up in his first few months though. But I honestly think, If Tony Mowbray is the glass ceiling for this club then it's probably time to pack it in.
-
Well we'll see. History proves £10 games have an impact on attendances, and history also proves that these 8/6/4 game bundles have no impact at all.
-
If you have £100 you can spare, or say £250 for a family then yes, but I'd wager people who wanted to make a big outlay in one go are already season ticket/half season ticket holders. Plus its quite possible that half of those games will be available on TV. WBA on easter Monday for £10 a ticket is much more attractive to the floating fan, or fan who cant make that commitment to get to Ewood all the time.

Charlton is all seater. Are you thinking about Brentford the week after?
-
I think if we had hit over 3k, the club wouldn't have stopped tweeting about it etc. I think it was around 1400 sold at the start of the week, so if we can get close to 2k it's a decent effort.

Seemed a bit sharper than usual last night albeit against a poor side. Hopefully it's not a case of him being an unused sub for the next three weeks and he gets another good half hour on Saturday to push him towards starting a few matches. Although he hasn't looked up to much in previous cameos, I do think Mowbray has managed him terribly so far.
-
Bare in mind he was only in charge for the first 7 games.
-
I didn't really enjoy the first half, sure we had a lot of possession and a few chances but I felt we were in for another of those nights. Mowbray's subs are often bizarre, but I thought the two last night gave us a lot more energy for the final half hour and worked well, Brereton and Samuel looked hungry, but we have to take into account how poor the opposition were. Armstrong is on his way to getting my vote for player of the season, some fantastic goals this season and when he gets going he takes some stopping. Funny league this, after writing the season off on Saturday, two big results for us tonight and all of a sudden it could be all to play for again.

Two woeful corners from that Maddison there. What a horrible game.

Supporters Consultation Meeting
MarkBRFC replied to J*B's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
When was this magical hour that I see mentioned every now and then?! Looking back, I can only find us in the top 6 of this league twice since relegation in 2012. 22/08/12 - 06/10/12 Just after relegation, we bounced around in the play off positions for around 6 weeks or so, even spending a week at the top of the table. 22/11/14 - 06/12/14 Two weeks spent in 6th place after a 10 game unbeaten run, we then lost 2-1 to Sheff Wed at Ewood and never got anywhere near again. -
I imagine Bennett takes JRC's place in the side, and Buckley takes Bennett's place on the bench.
-
I was talking about this at the game yesterday and how concerning it is. Due to the utter mismanagement of our first team squad, it will look like this at the end of the season unless any of our lads out of contract sign new deals before then. I'm taking into consideration players who have played first team games or have squad numbers... GK - Fisher Defence - Nyambe, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Wharton, Magloire, Williams Midfield - Bennett, Chapman, Travis, Evans, Johnson, Davenport, Rankin-Costello, Buckley, Rothwell, Holtby, Dack (probably not available until Christmas) Strikers - Armstrong, Gallagher, Brereton, Butterworth Now, I suspect Bell and Downing might get offered new deals, so we could probably add those back to the list. I personally think we will need 6 players of good quality just to stay as a plodding mid table side let alone a non existent push for the top 6. A GK, two centre halves, a left back, a wide player and a Striker. What's the betting Mowbrays first signing of the summer is an attacking midfielder?

Correct. Although if we think like that there would be no point in discussing anything that happens in games after the final whistle goes! -

This sort of nonsense drives me insane. It makes it sound like we have been bouncing around the third and fourth division for the past five decades prior to 2018, and we should be damn grateful that we're punching above our weight in this league. We're not Rochdale. -

Chaddy, this is becoming painful, yes I get that you said that in your first post after the game, that's fine, but YOU said in the above quoted post that it was onside from the footage YOU had seen. When you were asked about this, YOU said it was from the EFL show on quest, as you can see from the quoted posts above. So my question to you again is this, how from that footage on quest, when they didn't even analyse it after the game, could you tell it was definitely onside? You can't possibly say for certain on that one angle if it was or not. -

The £12m on non players is conveniently forgotten about when we're talking budgets. -

These were your original posts, forget what Mowbray says, you clearly say it was onside from the footage you had seen. When you were asked about it you said from the EFL show on Quest. So I'm wondering, how could you tell from the one angle on quest that he was onside? It's inconclusive. Also, I'm not saying it was definitely offside, I can't tell from the footage available, and I'm certainly not taking Mowbrays word for it. -

You said it was onside because you saw the footage back on Quest. That footage didn't give any conclusive verdict either way. Now you are saying it was onside because Mowbray said it was, then had the nerve to ask if we think he is lying. I'm not going to blindly accept something because Mowbray says so, he also said earlier in the season when he was getting a bit tetchy, that Gallagher scored two against Preston, and it was a "load of crap" that his first went down as an own goal. It was an own goal, if it didnt hit the keeper on the head then it doesn't go in. Sky didn't mention it, it didn't get a mention in the Quest analysis, that enough tells me that nobody really saw it as a big deal and would make me lean towards it being off rather than on.
