  1. True. 6 years since we did it at this level.
  2. People have been speculating the same since relegation in 2012. The answer to that will be no, it will just be another reset like the summer of 2015.
  3. So there are "4 or 5 serious offers for Wigan", yet there's enough people out there who would have you believe that nobody could ever possibly take us on if that glorious day of Venkys leaving ever happened. Do me a favour.
  4. Out of everything Venkys have done here in the past decade, that would surprise me the most. I just can't see it.
  5. Completely agree, there must be 3 lads from the under 23's who can contribute the same as to what they have this season.
  6. I think we're very much at a cross road again as a club, going into this summer gives me a very familiar feeling of the summer of 2015. Remember the optimism of the opening game of that season against Cardiff, a decent crowd on and on paper a side that looked like it could challenge. We stumbled a bit before finally spending around two weeks in the top 6 around November time, before an awful Christmas period and an inconsistent second half of the season, which was masked by a good FA Cup run. That side had Rhodes & Gestede scoring 20 goals each, King, Cairney, Marshall & Conway as other attacking outlets, along with a back four including Hanley, Duffy & Baptiste, with an ex England GK behind them. We ended up finishing 9th and 11 points off the play offs. Bowyers time was clearly up, but we held on and soon enough FFP bit, Gestede & Cairney were sold on, to be replaced by Danny Guthrie & Nathan Delfounso, downhill for the next two years followed by a relegation. I can see things going the same way this summer unfortunately.
  7. Well it won't be us, I can't imagine venkys will ever put us in administration.
  8. Nothing to do with Leeds. Just speaking to a mate of mine who went for a few in town yesterday afternoon and it was just local idiots causing trouble.
  9. Not on Sky tomorrow, think it's the only Leeds game not selected for the run in. Looking at it now the games have been selected for next weekend, we might not have one selected at all since the restart unless maybe the promotion race is done and Luton need a win on the last day or something.
  10. Doesn't matter, he's still got them whipped up into a frenzy.
  11. Bradley Dack seems to have riled up a few pie eaters on Twitter...
  12. Joe Hart is absolute fantasy land talk, not a chance. The GK we end up with will be another last minute loan as Fisher/Hilton play the majority of the pre season games.
  13. Is he back in training from his injury yet do we know? Interesting to see if he has any lasting effects from that, can't say I'm desperate for us to take the risk with him. Barry Douglas is one I've always liked at Wolves & Leeds. When Leeds go up he might be worth a loan deal.
  14. Probably due to where I live, but I would find it highly amusing if Nathan Jones, after dropping Stoke into huge trouble, was to go back to Luton and keep them up at the expense of the potters.
  15. We don't usually. We have only won 8 points all season from losing positions. Huddersfield home - drew 2-2 after being 1-0 down Sheff Wed home - won 2-1 after being 1-0 down Swansea home - drew 2-2 after being 2-1 down Bristol City home - won 3-1 after being 1-0 down
  16. Lad at my work is an avid Macclesfield Town fan and wouldn't stop going on about the keeper they had on loan from Man Utd last season, won there player of the year award I think. Just seen that it's this O'Hara we have been linked with today. Considering they were in the bottom 2 or 3 all of that season I'm guessing it was a huge learning curve for him, no idea how good he is though.
  17. To be fair Bristol got a free kick last week for the same thing when JRC scored... Kidding aside though, was a huge cock up from Walton, but despite a bit of decent possession we didn't look like scoring apart from a couple of Downing free kicks.
  18. Derby could be the one to watch in the last 7 games or so.
  19. Indeed. 6 weeks under ke*n/Black 2012 2 weeks under Bowyer 2014 1 week under Mowbray 2018
  20. We have spent 9 weeks in the Championships top 6 since relegation in 2012...
  21. So Hart can play, but I'd put my mortgage on that he won't. 5 players ahead of him at left back, not including the lad who kept him out of the under 23s.
  22. Think he has only scored once for us, against Bolton's kids at Ewood last season.
  23. Just a load of waffle that article is to make it look like things are happening.
  24. I reckon Bennett will play at left back if Nyambe is fit.
  25. That's what I originally thought too, and ordinarily I would have said fair enough, but when the club releases a statement a week or so prior guilt tripping fans into not asking for a refund because it would "threaten the existence" of the club, I can see why some are annoyed at the thought of paying Smallwood & Hart an extra months wages to do nothing, can you?
