  1. Why can't it be us? Oh sorry, i get you---you mean compete with us! Yes--agree!
  2. And, for once, Boro did us a favour!
  3. I'm happy with my response thanks. No way did I think that beating Birmingham was beyond Biz's wildest dreams!!
  4. Agree with all that. At some point you ask yourself "is all this real?" last game against Bournemouth convinced me it is! Hope iIhaven't put the mockers on it!
  5. Why? We are in great form, they are not. We've just comfortably beaten Bournemouth away. What have we to fear?Just keep doing what we have been doing and the goals will come.
  6. Of course we can when they reward one lesser player and lose the valuable ones.
  7. and thanks for the blinkers you took from Ben's eyes I thought they were there for good so I never tried!
  8. Get £20M for Diaz and expend £1M on Twatt! Classic Venkys!
  9. My favourite Leonard song!!
  10. News Now (I know!) has a Deepdale-based story putting us and them fighting to sign Tony Watt from Motherwell!. If this is this the replacement for Diaz where's my razor?!!
  11. So these adult, sentient human beings don't have a clue about what's best for them? Extreme arrogance on your part.
  12. I'll leave it there. Rovers fans taking it out on he players? What planet are you on?
  13. But while the owners and senior management don't change, the team can't carry on regardless can they? Example---we lost 12 players last summer, we signed 6---some on loan. Example--we have several players out of contract (or soon will be) and this has been allowed to run on and on. Your attempt to distinguish between the club and the team is disingenuous. Your'e blaming the fans, they didn't relegate us or appoint Coyle or dismantle the squad.
  14. More criticism of our own fans. Sick of it. None of those clubs had Venkys as owners but I know this---if they had they wouldn't have sat back and taken it like our happy clappers. Returning to back the team just gives Venkys assistance to make more disastrous decisions. While they are here many will never come back and nobody should be surprised at that.
  15. So long as he isn't an injury risk. We have enough of them.
  16. It seems more likely to me, that having failed to progress their original plan to sell half of Brockhall, Waggot and Co and presumably the owners, are having another go with a different plan. Cute to use Rovers fans to help spread the "good"news for them.
  17. Ronaldo certainly created his chance!
  18. But keeping our star players and getting into the Premiership should be the priority wouldn't you say?
  19. Why do we need it? Why is it the priority? You never say.
  20. This. After all that's happened people still trust them to do the right thing when the contrary evidence is right before their eyes viz state of the stadium and state of the pitch! Bonkers.
  21. We got really stiffed with him! How much were we paying for the privilege of putting in the transfer limelight? Mowbray assured us we could never possibly afford him, City wanted to keep him and had big hopes for him etc etc. All bullshit, in no time at all he'd signed for Fulham for £2M and is now in our division, 3 places above us!
  22. Well is said to be in the Ribble Valley! Does nobody but me wonder if Brockhall were sold they would keep the money and down grade the Academy? Really?
  23. Same here! I've watched it twice! The 2 guys are a bit cheesy though. 30+ version of Wham!
  24. Oh yes I do know that. My response is to the above post from Spartakfenni which has Venkys selling the academy to build a new one and giving the profits to the Club. Unless the new academy is a tin shed on a carpark I'm struggling to see where this immense profit lies. Apologies, I thought you were part of this conversation!
