Do you have any idea what is up with Litherland and/or Dunn? neither have played for the past few weeks
-
Yep, I think so, it looks like 4-4-2 to me with Powell left wing and Doherty on the right other option could be Doherty or Boggan as a 10, and the other on the right , with Joseph up top in a 4-2-3-1, but 4-4-2 makes the most sense Edit - it seems Boggan wide right, Doherty wide left and Powell as a 10 in a 4-2-3-1, nobody in the midfield (Vare/Strich/Powell) strikes me as being naturally a sitting/holding type, I will be interested to hear what those who were at the game think of the makeup of the side this evening

Tyjon is with the England Under 18 squad this week.

they might as well pull a fan out of the crowd and give him/her a chance, nobody last very long at vicarage road -
They all need to be played at a level that they can manage.

Good to see Joseph getting a run out at this level. Physically he's a beast at u18 level , so it should be interesting to see how he goes on tonight. 2 up front with Boggan ?

i can`t understant this why henrikson and sidnei ar`nt getting minutes and tyjon, who seemingly does`nt ever play for anyone, either send tyjon out on loan or put him in the first team squad, his development is`nt being helped by the current situation,he`s supposed to be the next big hope, the lad needs to play imo -

Jesper Karlsson on loan at Aberdeen would be something. Great talent but not at Bologna. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

I think you are getting seasons confused. In Tomasson's first season when we had a long early season spell of no draws, we were actually much less expansive. That Sunderland game was in his second season. -

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

I think this was particularly evident in his first season with us, where we failed a draw a single game in months. It was boom/bust, win/lose - but we were certainly at the right end of the table, as a result. All of that said, it led to many games that we completely dominated, but were caught on the counter and lost games that we had no right to lose. Sunderland at home is a prominent one; we absolutely peppered them and should have won by several. But they were good on the counter and grabbed a couple of breakaway goals on the rare instances they touched the ball.
