  1. Past hour
  2. I do what I can at my age but we were there in the trenches when it mattered Thousands on the pitch did make a difference then - and only a few were arrested. The same would likely happen now If you don't try you'll never know
  3. Rhetorical question: how significant is this contact? Should we put it out there? If so, we could decide when and how to use the information for maximum impact
  4. Rovers 0 - 2 Cheadle Town Stingers Cheadle Town Stingers? ffs
  5. Yep all roads always come back to this and is the reason in my opinion, why the will not entertain offers at any price.
  6. 15 years later and we're still in bed with this bastard!?!
  7. No chance young Merce was on the pitch, he’d have been well ensconced in the Nuttall Street or Riverside upper tier.
  8. When you reach a certain age you become more circumspect about exposing yourself to potentially dangerous situations. That is not fear but commonsense. I would ask you to stop trolling. I feel sure other users of this MB are also bored and fed-up with it.
  9. I think it was Bobby Moore who answered 'the first two yards are in your head' when he was quizzed about his apparent lack of pace.
  10. Scottish legend has it that he β€˜cannot pick his own nose’…
  11. His son is a cracking player too..........
  12. Go on then. Give us a clue...in code if necessary.. e.g. a distant relative of Hans Christian...
  13. Checked it out, xG is based on xG measures the quality of a shot based on: Distance from goal Angle of the shot Type of assist (through ball, cross, etc.) Body part used (foot, head, etc.) Defensive pressure Shot type (open play, set piece, etc.) The person taking the shot has no influence on xG, I suppose this is where the comparison of xG vs actual goals to judge a players worth is useful.
  14. I know of a very specific contact that Owen, Gestede, and Pasha all have…
  15. Several times Glen mentions how Pasha came across as aggressive and arrogant in his manner, talking down to those fans who were present at the Forum. That tells you everything you need to know about these gobshytes running our Club, unprofessional and not fit for purpose. How the hell do you converse and negotiate with individuals like that? What a mess we are in.
  16. "Trust us", and subsequently bin bagged an experienced (although difficult to like) manager for a man who has no mens game/pro managerial experience (admittedly holds an A license) and is the same religion as the new owners. Now I have no problem what religion, ethnicity, etc a manager is however to clear an experienced one out who has stood by that club through it's darkest hours to replace with one who wouldn't appear on paper to have been in the running anywhere else doesn't seem a great foot to get off on.
  17. So, you aren't willing to do anything, but you expect everyone else to risk their liberty and storm the pitch? Okay then. Thing is, even if that did happen, I'm unconvinced it would make any difference.
  18. I think it's 20 including Leonard, out of that lot that we would have to register.
  19. I know mate, purely putting the info in there as some contrarian will use it against me at some point I'm sure
  20. I understand your point, however, there are ways of protesting and expressing your discontent without risk of getting a criminal record. I would willingly participate in any substantial and well organised protest(s) / activities. I also did my bit, when needed, along with others like @jim mk2 many, many years ago - as to how effective those protests were, buy a pint or two for Rovers' fans of my generation in your local!
  21. What!? this is dreadful if true, i have just signed up to the membership for access into the blues bar before games.. What the hell is there going to be to watch before games? Its not the best as it is. Also last year we had membership cards for the blues bar, i was emailed by someone at the club saying i have to show my email of proof of payment to get in from now on, all seems a bit tinpot. Has anyone else had to show a confirmation email on entry to gain entry into blues bar on matchday? My first game is the norwich one. I imagine everything in the bars gone up in price for a worse experience in it than last season. That has annoyed me.
