  1. Past hour
  2. I only saw this for the first time in an announcement from the club on their website. It's about supporter behaviour but contains the following: Supporters should also be aware of the clubโ€™s bag policy when entering the stadium. To make Ewood Park safe for everyone, restrictions are in place on what you can bring in a bag into the stadium. Each supporter can only bring one small bag and it must not be bigger than A4 size. I know lots of supporters particularly in the family stand who take drinks and snacks in bags bigger than A4. For the life in me I can't see any logic behind a decision like this. Why don't they just say what the restrictions in the bag are. It's almost like we have appointed a 'Head of Pissing People Off' whose job it is is to annoy supporters.
  3. Go Ahead Eagles won the Dutch cup last season beating AZ on penalties. Smit played the whole game (didnโ€™t score or assist). Iโ€™ve been watching a bit of the Dutch second division since visiting FC Volendam in February. Their striker scorer 52 goals in two seasons at the second division level. Now playing in the Eredivisie he hasnโ€™t scored a goal this season, it seems to be quite a big jump in class from the second division to the Eredivisie.
  4. Ah OK. Thanks. Not getting great vibes off that one. Presumably not good enough for the Dutch top flight. Is 6ft 3" though so would fit in Val's Valley of the Giants.
  5. I really wish weโ€™d sign Jizz Hornkamp! Wow, what a name! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘€
  6. Doesnโ€™t mean anything about the player. 3 goals in 22 apps in the Dutch top flight doesnโ€™t look good.
  7. I think you're the one that's getting confused. Im not saying they deserve massive credit for covering losses incurred due to their negligent running of the Club in the past but at least they covered/are covering them. You're talking as though these losses never occurred. It also seems beyond dispute that they've been unwilling to keep putting as much money in since the Court case. Just the bare minimum necessary for cash flow purposes to keep the lights on whilst we sell whatever we can to minimise the overall amount they need to put in.
  8. Bit of a strange link. Scored a good amount in the second dutch league but many were penalties and hasnt adapted to the top flight. As @MarkBRFC said would he even be able to sign or would he need an ESC place?
  9. He scored 19 in 36 in the Dutch second division
  10. That was in the second division. Then Go Ahead bought him.
  11. They finished 7th in the top Dutch league
  12. It is a spectacular understatement from yourself though ๐Ÿคฃ. Good grief, he looks woeful.
  13. Big Country - Fields Of Fire
  14. Not sure he would qualify for a ESC place?
  15. Seems like a Leonard replacement. Young and with some potential. Did well a couple of seasons ago in the Dutch second division but half of his goals were penalties.
  16. Itโ€™s the start of many names Iโ€™d say over the weekend unless something is done already and kept quiet nothing will happen today or tomorrow so itl be Sunday/Monday I reckon before thereโ€™s any further movement
  17. Let it go, Elsa. It's been 30 years.
  18. Rovers new line up suffer teething troubles 3-1 Norwich, after we take an early lead
  19. Scored 19 in 36 the season before in the Dutch top flight. Clearly lots happening in the background- letโ€™s see who we get.
  20. Looks quite quick so that's a positive. Will be an option behind Yuki who I presume will be a starter.
