There's clearly no intention to sell or to get us back to the PL. Those who believe that they are keeping us with a view to getting back to the PL to recover their investment I think are deluded. The only calculations they need to be thinking about are whether they want another 10 years of funding a Championship / League One club to the tune of £10 million+ a year, ultimately costing them a further £100 million or more on top of what it has already cost, or whether they are better putting a stop to it now, stopping the drain of money and handing it over for a nominal amount to someone willing to try and better the club.

Good luck and I wish them well; all I'm saying is that in 15 years the club is a continuing state of chaos and decline and nothing has worked. I've heard that Suhail considers £200m as the magic number that would convince them to sell. But that's pie in the sky stuff and they aren't getting their money back. Even Chansiri is not mad enough to ask for that. The only way they would get that is to gamble and get back to the Premier League. They aren't going to do that with Suhail on the pursestrings. The reality is that the club will continue to be a financial drain for them. Suhail will continue to pick up his hefty salary while cutting costs to try and minimise that drain to keep his cushy deal going.
