  1. Past hour
  2. Ahem... but who is going to score our goal in this scenario? If its the same squad as for the last two hootenannies (minus Litherland of course) then the chances are it isn't going to be someone on our playing staff. Luckily, as for the bear that may or may not actually shit in the woods, Schroedingers spectator syndrome will effectively ensure there is no-one present to witness the shameful performance that does or doesn't actually happen. I wonder, is it possible that there is someone on bonus pay for every thousand fans that don't turn up?
  3. I don’t think it is frankly and calling a Rovers season ticket holder a ‘Venkys apologist’ isn’t helpful, but I’ve said my bit. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS (To me)
  4. Very much this. I mean if i can check it and corroborate it from multiple sources in 3O seconds on my phone… Still - present a replica of a cup and then get beat. Wonder whose kit we’ll be wearing for this one 🤔
  5. Litherland out for a couple of months according to his social media. I don’t know if I have it in me to watch Miller playing wing back on Sunday, miss hitting every pass.
  6. I think another abandonment would be a win for us, considering the team we are likely to be fielding
  7. We'll edge this 1 - 0 as long as it doesn't get abandoned after 65 mins !
  8. Today
  9. It can be, its the battered wife theory. You can love what it was but not what it is now. And until such a time as the Venkys are gone, unconditional support is not an option.
  10. It certainly can when the club is a shitshow. It's called 'enabling'.
  11. Most people on here think Venkys-run Blackburn Rovers are a shell of their former self, with the majority of decisions being led by cost cutting and a lack of ambition, or just being embarrassing. For example wage bill reduction, transfer policy, boardroom policy, ground maintenance, Brockhall, 150th anniversary, treatment of LT, fans forum minutes. apologist (noun) someone who speaks or writes in defense of someone or something that is typically controversial, unpopular, or subject to criticism Harsh as it sounds, Chaddy literally is the dictionary definition. He then talks about being a “diehard rovers fan” with the implication that anyone who criticises cant be a “diehard Rovers fan” (otherwise why mention it).
  12. Unconditionally supporting the team is one thing, trying to excuse almost everything the club does is another.
  13. What's so annoying is that I think every supporter knows we last won the Cup in 1928, you don't even have to think about it, basic fact. The Club's run by people who obviously have no interest in it whatsoever and couldn't care less.
  14. I’m starting to consider how strict this rule is.
  15. Supporting the club unconditionally should never be seen as a negative den.
  16. 😂😂😂😂😂 You have to laugh. In no other industry would such rank incompetence go unpunished. We can’t go anywhere else - this is our club. That is the only reason this lot are still running They make a mistake in practically every single announcement they make. It’s beyond a joke to be honest. There’s a very real part of me that thinks this is on purpose because it is too much. It is such a show of contempt
  17. why do we need zidane when we`ve got tim sherwood kenny😆
  18. If you mean Dane Scarlett then I’d have to disagree, he’s absolutely awful
  19. The worst thing about some of the names being suggested are they’re better than we currently have. How much further are we going to fall?
  20. we should boycott the sheff wed game imo, symbolic that the game has to be replayed because of a decaying infastructure and chronic lack of interest in investment from our owners over the last 15 years
  21. It’s a forum Gav. If you continually post things others disagree with you will - rightly or wrongly- get pulled up. It happens to us all. There’s only one reason why Chaddy gets so much stick. I’m sure it’s nothing personal.
  22. I really don’t think calling posters Venkys apologists is helpful. Once upon a time it was seen as a strength to support the club, whatever the situation and many still do adopt that approach and who are we to criticise them for it? The fans can’t influence the current situation, certainly 1 fan can’t, so supporting the club unconditionally, for some, is all they can do and they shouldn’t be lambasted for it in my opinion.
  23. In fact, do we think Pasha will have the gumption to come out and say 'nobody knew if Ryan Alebiousu was any good' if he goes on to smash it for an Everton?
  24. Solomon Burke - Down In The Valley
  25. They've taken it off twitter but it is still on their Instagram reels from earlier, so I've saved it. Can't do anything right can they?
