  1. Past hour
  2. Any chance of that message (or shortened version) being placed in an Indian newspaper Glen? Plenty on here would contribute to cost I'd think.
  3. You're calling that one early, 5 points behind with a game in hand, and their squad full of "rubber dinghy men".
  4. I had one in Covid season as well, I wanted to help my club. It feels like the owners of our club and the administrators they employ have no such sentiment for our historic club and its supporter base.
  5. Rovers 1 - 1 Millwall. Gudjohnsen with the goal. Predicted team: Pears Miller McLoughlin Pratt Hedges Tronstad Baradji Morishita Cantwell Ohashi Gudjohnsen If Hedges still out then I guess swap in Gardner-Hickman for him.
  6. I will be boycotting and a season ticket holder! I boycotted the Derby game too!
  7. Everything that needs to be said fully explained and laid out in this well done. 👍🏻 The chips are down WE THE FANS ARE BLACKBURN ROVERS FOOTBALL CLUB. We've had enough.
  8. Not a death, but a century (and a couple of days) alive. Thanks for the joy you brought my grandma, my mum, me, and my children. Happy belated 100th Birthday Dick Van Dyke! Needs an honorary knighthood before he passes imo. I’d also love him to get one last chance at an Oscar, even if it’s a fix. Somebody cast him as Scrooge or something. Or (plot twist) cast him as himself in his own biopic.
  9. As is tradition we now enter a spell of surprising form. All culminating in a game we should win, that would drastically improve our position - which we go onto lose embarrassingly.
  10. Well done Glen and the many more involved, thank you for your efforts
  11. Now the Coalition has called a boycott. We will win. Thats always how it goes (protests only seem to lead to better results twitter happy clappers). 2-0 Rovers
  12. Today
  13. I’m Season ticket holder since 82 - one of the mugs that bought a ST in covid - I’m going to boycott this Saturday. Along with my 83 yr old Father who has supported Rovers since he was 7. Club’s dead unless we do something.
  14. Looking at Derby tonight find it hard to see why to he are only evens against Sheffield Wednesday and 3/1 to win by more than 1 goal
  15. I expect it be gradual, some bought tickets, but my season tickets will stay at home and i wont be attending
  16. So, all out from this Saturday’s match ? Normally I would be there but I’m prepared to miss for the greater good. I hope that other ST holders feel likewise.
  17. I can’t blame anyone for trying but I too fear anyone interested in taking part in a boycott to get rid of this lot is already doing so.
  18. Bet the lads and lasses in Adelaide and La Paz can't wait to settle down to watch Hull and Rovers slog it out. The magic of the Cup... Can anyone remember / does anyone know if the FA Cup ties are officially audio broadcast by Rovers? Don't have TNT and not in Lancs...
  19. They most likely will finish ahead of us but currently they are 5 points ahead of us he Is hardly completely wrong yet
  20. only 1 change FFS. Tongue for Atkinson. We have backed Bashir for 3 years and said he would be number 1 spinner in the ashes, now not playing. I would have drop Pope for Bashir and Potts for Carse
  21. This depends how a “phased, strategic boycott” is going to work (as it’s worded on X). You will get a number of people prepared to miss one game. You will not get them prepared to miss several. You may get people to stop spending on the concourse for certain games etc… but not consistently. And the minute this appears to fails you almost give the club a mandate to carry on as is.
  22. Well done. Professional, to the point and putting across the exact message that needs to be put across. Unfortunately I think those willing to boycott are basically already unofficially doing so, even if they aren't calling it boycotting, but it's right to put the call out anyway. There's a difference between valuing the club as a whole and only valuing being a supporter of a club.
