  1. Past hour
  2. With 8 home matches now confirmed for Saturday up to Xmas be interesting to see how many would buy a package for those for say £160 for all 8 (Riverside). I’d be tempted, can’t do evening or Sunday lunch kickoffs because of trains so never even consider a season ticket now.
  3. A Wednesday situation of not paying wages etc will never happen here. When push comes to shove they will always put the minimum amount in to keep things ticking over.
  4. Somewhere between the two… That says almost 18,000, I took the figure from the accounts which said (if I’d read properly!) exceeded 17,500. Both figures are of course far higher than the current regime could ever dream of (not that they care.)
  5. It's not just lack of cover thats the problem, the first choice options dont have many if any goals in them based on last season's performance.
  6. Not sure what was the original story was , but there are a few https://www.sportsboom.com/football/transfer-news-rumours/exclusive-manchester-citys-hot-prospect-max-alleyne-wanted-on-loan-by-sheffield-united-and-blackburn-rovers/ https://the72.co.uk/2025/07/29/blackburn-rovers-loan-deal-manchester-city-max-alleyne/ https://esteemedkompany.com/2025/07/29/two-manchester-city-defenders-appear-set-to-leave-the-club-this-summer/ TBH, makes sense to get a loan in for centre back, already have 4 (Hyam, Carter, Wharton, McLoughlin). Gives time to see how Atcheson, Litherland, O'Riordan do on a seasons loan, and reassess in the summer. And I am probably hoping for too much here, but means limited funds can be directed higher up the pitch
  7. You'd not have thought so if you'd seen it. His missus was with him with free hands.
  8. Right when attendances were booming as well. Still, don't want to let the fans have any say in how their clubs are run or make these decisions. Better off leaving that to billionaires who think of them as nothing but insignificant ants just waiting to be crushed at will.
  9. Today
  10. Ohashi, Cantwell, odd ones from Trav, Tron, hedges, de neve, Wharton etc. nicking one off goals we have players capable of, it's when you need 2/3 that things really become a concern. there's a lack of depth to the attacking 4 positions. Gueye and to a lesser extent Kargbo aside, we don't have senior options to rotate/cover.
  11. Protest about what? Again no idea what your point is? There's thousands upon thousands of players in the world that would be cheap with potential resale value, a 24 year old from the Swiss challenge league isn't some kind of rare beast....
  12. Was Via the Manchester evening post on news now. Not sure how credible as I've never heard of the paper.
  13. Reading those minutes makes me really miss Blackburn Rovers. I don't know what you call this sham that we have been presented with over the last 15 years but it certainly isn't BRFC.
  14. I may be wrong, but I really don’t see the owners being interested in the slightest in watching the highlights of a pre-season friendly in Spain.
  15. To get wins, Rovers are going to have to win games 1-0… who is getting that one goal!?
  16. Yesterday
  17. Looks like Wrexham are signing Nathan Broadhead for over £7m from Ipswich. They are really going for it.
  18. A mistake I can accept but there was definitely something off there. There were rumours that Ashby had been shall we say feted by Ferguson and Man Ure over the years.
  19. Has anyone seen the new TNT advert “only the street will remember” prem add featuring our very own MGP in the Blackburn kit
  20. There were some rumours that Pasha was going to great lengths to convey to the owners, that everything is good at the club. So much so that he was trying to doctor some of the TV coverage there were seeing. No doubt the recent appearance of the Pasha out banner in Spain, caused more angst, as it would have been very difficult for him to do anything with those highlights to ensure the owners did not see it, assuming they watched the highlights. The more pressure on him the better, as he should be target number one at Ewood, now that Waggott has gone and him falling, could be significant.
  21. *18,000 https://www.brscn.no/Fans-Forum---August/Nyhet/4895
  22. 2009 season ticket sales - 17,500.
  23. We don’t have to imagine - we just need to reminisce.
  24. The normal under this regime yes. Acceptable? Hell no. That's what happens after 15 years of unrelenting destruction and mismanagement, continuing today with no CEO, no board worthy of the name, no commercial director and the likes of Pasha, Gestede and Sufi running the club, people who would be nowhere near comparable positions at any other professional outfit, and they know it. Imagine where we might be with a competent, ambitious, driven ownership and executive.
  25. What made it worse IIRC was that Ashby refused to review the decision later and therefore Berg's red card stood and he was suspended. I had no problem with ref's making mistakes in pre-VAR days - even if I didn't like the decision - but that was just bloody minded.
  26. So roughly around 9k is the normal here?
