  1. Past hour
  2. He has no affinity to Rovers and should have zero interest, certainly not enough to constantly chirp up in defence of the owners and put himself in the firing line. The only motivation is to stay on that train and i think what they call it these days is gaslighting. Never responds to the comments on his agency etc.
  3. This quote is from the day of the Portsmouth postponement. “Today’s pitches are designed to accommodate vast amounts of rainfall, but unfortunately ours cannot cope with the rainfall that fell on Saturday, which was in the region of 35ml. do we know the expected rainfall volumes for tonight ?
  4. He even liked my tweet pointing out that he’s rode the gravy train very nicely. More front than Brighton.
  5. Got bloody Covid so I'm not coming up after all.
  6. Good job it’s not today; up the road and it’s far worse than it was the day of the Ipswich game
  7. The fact he jumped on that so quickly to try and spin the narrative shows some of the same snouts are still in the trough. Protecting their own interests.
  8. Today
  9. He is on record, in what is believed to be the true version of the Fans Forum minutes as follows in the extract I have cut and pasted as below. GM – Stated Jones had been part of an instrumental time at the club with key players coming through the academy, notably Adam Wharton who was sold for what appears to be below market value to pay bills, with no reinvestment into the squad with those funds. SS- Stated that no one knew Wharton would be a good player at youth level whilst AO Stated no one pays more for a championship player, GM – Gave the recent £40m plus addons sale of Jobe Bellingham as a rebuttal, whilst refuting SS Claim on Wharton who had been the worse kept secret in years as a player very much expected to progress to the first team since during the emergence of his brother. AO Acknowledged, other championship players have gone for much more money than the previous suggestion of Wharton’s value being market value.
  10. Venky's release funds to allow Suhail to send Rudy to Aldi for 2 mops.
  11. It's a shame they can't offer this to us when it doesn't feel like they have a gun against their head. The results would be better if they didn't always feel so damn reluctant and done in crisis mode.... Poor planning as usual and now trying to claw back what they can. Almost feels a "Told you so" is needed but I think I'll save that for when Rudy's new squad is bottom at Christmas.
  12. Your use of 'very, very' is woefully inadequate. Add a further 98 times and you will be closer to the mark! Love it!!! So Carter seems to be out for weeks again - the lad is rapidly approaching Grella and Gallagher territory. The sale of Hyam with no replacement seems more calamitous by the day. As for Baradji, words almost fail me - IMO, a total feckin nonsense of a loan signing. If only I could find a bookie to make a bet that the match wont even start let alone finish!!!!! Would love to know what, if any, addition preparations and precautions Rovers have made to ensure the match both starts and finishes. I think the answer will most likely be the square root of sweet feck all.
  13. Something off with him definitely...cameo against Plymouth last season he was unplayable...He looked good in our final pre-season as well (against a good side) - Writings on the wall for him now I feel.
  14. Obviously idiots shouldnt be abusing him online. But his effort levels in the lead up to the winner midweek were totally unacceptable. Play crap and people can let you off. Dont try, its hard to.
  15. Is he really that quick? I suspect he was quicker before his muscle strains last season.
  16. Hasta is correct. Against Ipswich a 4pm yellow weather warning for heavy rain was given for "Ewood" & "Waterfall" areas of Blackburn. It came down heavy exactly as they predicted & that's what caused the pitch to be unplayable.
  17. Looks like he's had that much abuse he's deactivated his instagram account - If that's the reason, it's totally unacceptable! I hope Kargbo can find his feet, certainly doesn't have much a football brain but has shown glimpses.
  18. Poor drainage at Ewood, something needs to be done.
  19. I sincerely hope your endeavours are rewarded with a win. Looking at the Met Office forecast right now I don't think there will be a problem with the game going ahead.
  20. Preston, Blackpool and Bolton are all at home. I know it's not the same, but you could always take one of those games that clearly won't be at risk in.
  21. 94/95 team against United 94/95 team under the lights at Ewood.
  22. Really frustrating, this. Some weeks ago I bought a couple of tickets to take my eight-year-old to his first game in a year. We are setting off on the 240 mile drive in a few hours, got a hotel booked, to watch the game tomorrow then drive 240 miles back. I can't not go as he will be devastated - especially if the game goes ahead. But there is clearly a likelihood that I'll have to manage the huge disappointment of getting all the way there just to wake up and have it called off. Really not sure what to do. But how ridiculous is it that we are probably the only set of fans thinking like this and fully anticipating our stadium not being fit to hold a full match, again. I think I'll be risking it, as my son has been so excited for seeing Rovers again, despite my 'expectation management'!!
  23. The whole ground could be underwater and chaddy would predict the game could carry on. "Its only a bit of rain FFS."
  24. …says the agent who’s made a tidy sum out of said ‘good people’.
  25. Depends which site you look on. The one thing we know about the weather is you cant accurately forecast it. Regardless of which site you look at, there is a hell of a lot of heavy rain forecast up until kick off. Against Ipswich, the rain didnt start coming down heavy until during the game.
  26. No way this game finishes, weather almost mirrors 2 weeks ago along with stronger winds. Stay home enjoy your Saturday in the warmth.
