  1. Past hour
  2. That was the other thing that was very noticable for me against Sheffield. When we were losing and not looking like scoring the camera showed a few shots of VI (looking lost) and the bench behind him. Whitehead and Benson were furiously scribbling notes, glassy eyed and silent.
  3. I will be wearing this again on Saturday:
  4. Wish our lot would stop paying the bills….
  5. Of course not, his job is not done yet but he is well on target to acheive the desired relegation.
  6. It is probably the best thing in the medium to long term. If I were an interested investor I would have waited for administration.
  7. I think our only hope is that a 'whistleblower' from the last 15 years comes forward and opens up any can(s) of worms! Doubt it will be that straightforward! Difficult to comment without more specifics but a lender which has taken security has a number of options available when it comes to enforcing its security. Reasonable care must be taken to obtain the best price reasonably obtainable for the asset - these duties are owed to all creditors (other secured, preferential and other unsecured) and also to the borrower!
  8. I go to Chorley occasionally. I was brought in up nearby Leyland and my brother played in goal for Chorley for a short time. I don’t support them but it is a great atmosphere. A loud home crowd, plenty of novel supporters flags, a good Fanzone and a new club shop. They are pulling in a lot of former Rovers attendees these days and recruiting loads of young fans who may otherwise have gone to Rovers.* *Rovers Community Trust no longer do any activities in Chorley. I had arranged for the Council Leader to attend a Rovers home game but Rovers never followed up the contact despite promises.
  9. Den. This is so sad. Take care pal and I hope to see you at Ewood again soon under new owners.
  10. Make no mistake,he'll be on holiday somwhere like the South of France laughing his bollox off as the coin rolls in. Great if you can get the gig eh.
  11. Phantastic Ferniture - Dark Corner Dance Floor
  12. For a Club who's skint, we do like throwing what money we do have away dont we? How much money are we incinerating on Waggott and Baradji this season I wonder. That was shortly after Waggott bringing Dennis in on loan.
  13. No "Phoenix Club" for me personally NO NAY NEVER!..there will only ever be one ROVERS CLUB in this Town. Being brutally honest what hurt's me the most is our inability to come together as a united Fanbase and fight the B'stards ruining our Town's Ancient and Storied Club. Massive frustration.
  14. And good signings, and management that give a shit.
  15. I can imagine it being written by a club employee, I don't think there could be many genuine match-goers who could press send on that tweet, young or old
  16. Gonna be a bit cold in November wearing that! Spot on though.
  17. This is historic trivia of mild interest but there's still no evidence that a white jersey was worn for any significant length of time. The white shirt/Maltese Cross have no significance for or connection to the Club whatsoever these days and imo it will be appalling if a commemorative shirt is brought out along those lines. Would be ok if a white one AND a blue and white halved one were brought out then people could take their pick.
  18. The blue and white shirts on match day are My Team but BRFC is not my Club under this ownership.
  19. Don’t worry we’ll be able to get O’Riordan back in January. It’ll be like signing a new player !
  20. I think most of us realise a critical point is approaching from which Rovers may never recover. It seems inevitable. Never thought it would happen in my lifetime. There's enough love around for Rovers that may see a "Phoenix Club" arise but it will be a long, long battle. Don't think I'll be around to see it. Agree Glen must be supported to the hilt but so many dopes can't see it.
  21. Tbf I didnt think he was that great when he was here, (probably gained a new lease of life from being out of this madhouse) BUT I think everyone was unanimous in thinking it was madness to release him at that stage of the window without any replacement.
  22. Filing for Admin at Sheffield Wednesday. Like many football clubs, it has been trading at a significant loss for many years, with those losses historically funded by the owner. Mr Chansiri is no longer willing to provide that financial support. "While the recent fan boycott has not directly caused the insolvency, it has increased financial pressure on the club. As a result, the owner has chosen to place the club into administration.
  23. I can only imagine that's been written by someone very young who hasn't witnessed a relegation battle or the early warning signs.
  24. Damn shame it got to that point. As I said in another thread these historic teams ought to be protected and bought by owners that have proven love for the club. It's like buying a historic cricket team in India and ruining the history
  25. Interesting stat on Sky Sports News : Derby were the last Champonship club to go into administration in 2021 .. They are above us now ! Bring it on here !
