I sincerely hope your endeavours are rewarded with a win. Looking at the Met Office forecast right now I don't think there will be a problem with the game going ahead. -

Preston, Blackpool and Bolton are all at home. I know it's not the same, but you could always take one of those games that clearly won't be at risk in. -

Really frustrating, this. Some weeks ago I bought a couple of tickets to take my eight-year-old to his first game in a year. We are setting off on the 240 mile drive in a few hours, got a hotel booked, to watch the game tomorrow then drive 240 miles back. I can't not go as he will be devastated - especially if the game goes ahead. But there is clearly a likelihood that I'll have to manage the huge disappointment of getting all the way there just to wake up and have it called off. Really not sure what to do. But how ridiculous is it that we are probably the only set of fans thinking like this and fully anticipating our stadium not being fit to hold a full match, again. I think I'll be risking it, as my son has been so excited for seeing Rovers again, despite my 'expectation management'!! -

The whole ground could be underwater and chaddy would predict the game could carry on. "Its only a bit of rain FFS." -

Depends which site you look on. The one thing we know about the weather is you cant accurately forecast it. Regardless of which site you look at, there is a hell of a lot of heavy rain forecast up until kick off. Against Ipswich, the rain didnt start coming down heavy until during the game. -

No way this game finishes, weather almost mirrors 2 weeks ago along with stronger winds. Stay home enjoy your Saturday in the warmth. -
He repeatedly showed at Spurs that he doesnt have a plan B. Changing your formation doesnt mean its a plan B. To replace Nuno with Ange was a ridiculous move. I would never have appointed him. But I do find it interesting how 6 games is "FFS have time and patience" territory (why would I need patience judging the Forest manager) but 7 games for Ismael is enough to judge?
-
I find it really difficult to track the acceptable period of time that can pass before it's permissable to criticise a manager.

On what planet is a friendly v Wales necessary next week? That squad is a farce.

plenty of head coaches have had only Plan A and when it doesn't work then don't have B. Someone like Sven Goran Eriksson or Roy Hodgson. Ange has been there for 6 games FFS, Allow some time and patience when some on here don't have. Did Forest play 3 at the back yesterday? so isn't a plan B @roversfan99 did you ever allow new head coach time to bring in his ideas and methods over and given that Ange probably didn't have much time on the training ground to implement his own ways yet?

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

I was told that was Waggott, well before the end of Tomasson's first season. Of course he could have been following orders. It's still happening so it would appear so. I hear an ex manager is keen to take another of our homegrown players and it's likely to happen. -
They might have to open the club shop on Mondays to cope with the demand for the flex tickets ?

If it’s so hard to run a ‘medium sized Championship side with 15,000 average gates’ maybe they shouldn’t have fucked up the Premier League side with mid 20,000 gates they bought. -

pre Uncle Jack era, the 4 should be Ronnie Clayton, Bryan Douglas, Simon Garner and Bob Compton Since Uncle Jack takeover, Jack Walker, Sir Kenny, Alan Shearer and Tony Parkes -
I know how you felt with how the whole transfer was handled Tony and fully agree. It is about as shocking as it gets, how we threw this away and how we treated not only a superb talent, but a Rovers fan and from a Rovers supporting family. One other huge thing to say, not the slightest sign of him refusing to sign a contract, like many before him. That ensured Rovers at least got something for him, despite it being the steal of the century for Palace. The fans and the Wharton family did not deserve to be let down like this and Pasha should have been immediately handed his notice, with the comments he made in the fans forum. No wonder he wanted the real version of the minutes hidden.

On the face of it I don't think this is the worst idea they have come up with. However the timing is ridiculously naive and has panic written all over it. The big question from me is why this wasn't available during the summer. With four losses at home so far it's going to be another embarrassment for our club when the take up is negligible.

When you're playing Football Manager you can download tactics to plug and play - sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. It's more rewarding to develop your own tactic and style, but if you're struggling then downloaded tactics can at least give you some idea of how the game engine works. Managers like Ange and Amorim are essentially the real-life equivalent of an FM player who downloaded a tactic, it worked once and so they use it all of the time, unable to change it even if it doesn't work because they don't really understand the game itself particularly well. No modern manager should have one style & shape that they are anchored to come hell or high water. It should be an instant red flag to any managerial recruitment team.
