Understand Rovers would like to snare (on loan) a forward from a leading PL club (already made 1st team debut). He's only young but an amazing talent who would get the fans out of their seats. Seems he made his name at Derby with his best form in league 1 where you can get away with certain flaws and still look good. Got the big move but was out of his depth at Brighton and went downhill from there. Agree, Hanley was brainless at times. However, as a centre half he is 3 to 4 inches taller than Cashin, has amassed some 400 senior league appearances with a fair old few in the PL and represented his country for getting on 70 occasions. IMO, there is a big, big difference between the 2 players and I would wager Cashin will get nowhere near replicating Hanley's career/achievements.
