jim mk2 Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 That's a whole different story. No, jabs are important. Mr Roversmum would have loved to have been able to have the polio one as it would have prevented his disability. From the 1960s outbreak ?

Sandiway Blue Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I thought you could only get chicken pox once and that it normally happens when you're a kid? I might be wrong... but I'd assume most of the squad would have had chicken pox by now! Force the spotty pineapple to train I say! I was 19 yrs old when i got chicken pox.Nasty bugger that was!
gazsimm Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 still no news that he actually signed yet, untill he does then i won't start getting excited. Unless he has been told to wait until his chicken pox goes poor lad lol
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I get the feeling they might wait until he has got cleared up before holding up the shirt with his spotty face.
Bobby G Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Im not too happy about what Lee has said as its worrying me...
Majiball Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Chicken pox takes up to 3 weeks to get over, I hope he had minimal contact with the rest of the squad/staff.
RevidgeBlue Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Hmmmm................... Bentley hamstring, calf injury etc............ Villenueva - deal apparently still not done and now we're told he has chickenpox. Hope someone else hasn't nicked him off us by offering a permanent deal immediately. Or is that reading too much into the situation?
Hughesy Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONFIRMED on the official site! Rovers site
Majiball Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I know I posted it response on another thread but why no mention of his Pox? Glad its sorted ince has said the right thing in that it will take time for him to adapt to the culture and game over here but lets hope he does so.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 ATTACKING MIDFEILDER..... 2 great words that we have all longed to hear!
benhben Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Im actually quite excited about this guy. We lack abit of dribbling flair so could be good.
Sandiway Blue Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Hopefully the end of the bully boy era and the beginning of the samba era!
S15 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Juninho, Di Canio, Carbone, Zarate and the one exception Tevez. These wildcards are always great fun, but usually end up relegated when they sign for clubs like us. Apologies, but I can't help but be a little nervous.

I see what your saying and I know as well (Not that Paulo and co are all South American) for every South American that has been a success in the premiership, there has probably been 2 that have been flops. But come on, this is what we've been crying out for, some really good news which we have to say this is, lets all be positive about this one, were moving on and away from Bentley, its the end of an era because the new era is here....... The era of King Carlos!!!!!!!
BuryRover Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Not sure if everyone has seen this, but I found an interesting documentary about the . It goes right back to his earliest playing days as a youngster and right at the end explains how he got the nickname "Piña", I can't understand spanish but I think it has something to do with his hairstyle as a teenager. I have a great feeling about this young fella, he seems to be massive in his native Chile, so maybe we will gain a lot of Chillean fans and sell lots of shirts over there. I hope whilst he is out of action with the chickenpox Incey has found a good tutor to learn him some English to help him settle into the side.
donis1410 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 "The player has also agreed terms with Rovers to extend his contract for a further three years if the option is exercised." anyone doubting the negotiating powers of JW and Incey now????
T4E Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 "The player has also agreed terms with Rovers to extend his contract for a further three years if the option is exercised." anyone doubting the negotiating powers of JW and Incey now???? JW? Not at all. Ince? Would be amazed if he was involved.
alexanders Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Ince? Would be amazed if he was involved. He has been watching the videos on youtube.
Mr Creosote Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I know it's only a practice game, I know it's only Youtube but I cant get enough of this! The kid has seriously quick feet! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hwnYEb87Sy8
HertsRover Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 How rubbish are the BBC. Found this tagged onto the end of the Villanueva story they "wrote" today...... "Meanwhile, Equador's Segundo Castillo, 26, will link up with the Blackburn squad ahead of Monday's pre-season game with Hoffenheim in Germany. The Red Star Belgrade midfielder is set to complete his move to Ewood Park in time for the start of the season. " So were going back to Germany again??? I think not.

rebelmswar Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 After a season could this turn into a Tevez saga?
