Bobby G Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 And if we dont stay up most likely it will be due to the "chances" Ince was given to turn this around. We all saw this was coming for months...Did we have to throw away 4-5 games out of the window too for all the others to be sure?

ABBEY Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 And if the fans booed them they would be called a disgrace...Whatever you do as a fan you can't win.. AND NEITHER CAN THE TEAM!
Presty On Tour Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Ince has to go, just stands there on the sidelines and says nothing. What an idiot! He hasn't got a clue what to do!
RibbleValleyRover Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 And if the fans booed them they would be called a disgrace...Whatever you do as a fan you can't win.. What about doing nothing? If i was at the game there is no way i would have clapped the players, but at the same time i find booing pathetic. I would have just sat or stood there with my arms crossed, no emotion.
ABBEY Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I'd make ince and the defence walk back home...id love to see him tonight at ewood or williams ..im foul and it could get nasty
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Dick Dinnis laying into Ince now on Radio...saying out loud what we all know.
philipl Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 That in the end was a very good result. The lads put effort in and all over the pitch really looked like they cared passionately. We still got stuffed with no organisation and players instructed to play out of position all over the field. Wigan looked Premier League class- we looked like school kids chasing the ball about and no shape when we were in posession and preciously little clue when Wigan were running at us. It is a very good result because: It is definitive- well beaten There was no bad luck That was pretty close (excepting Grella and Reid) to as strong a squad to chose from as we have got so no real injury whingeing is permissable There can only be one conclusion.... Over to John Williams.
Ninjathunder Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 This must be the end of the line for him. No chance he'll resign though. The board must act and act fast.
brfc4ever Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Dick Dinnis laying into Ince now on Radio...saying out loud what we all know. Quotes please
broadsword Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Well, if the game at Spurs was an exceptional performance, then that was probably a pretty good one.
1864roverite Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Embarrassment alone should make a man out of him. Ince, you have only one option left and that is to swallow your pride and admit the job is way too big for you. To see a Rovers side lose by 3 goals to nil to Wigan Athletic is confirmation that you and your staff do not have the know how, the nouse or the gall to do the job on a competent basis. You have let the fans down big time
Bobby G Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 If it even takes more than JW walking into the dressing room right now and telling Paul to pack it, then Ill be disgusted.
AggyBlue Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Well that was dire. Usual mistakes all over the pitch. Warnock left isolated and taken to the cleaners. Santa looking like he couldn't be arsed. Mystifying substitutions. The thing that really stood out was the lack of pace in all departments. At times it seemed like we were in slow motion. The players as a whole must take some of the blame but for Ince to be unable to yet again shore up the defence is unacceptable. OVER TO YOU JOHN WILLIAMS.
1864roverite Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 News from INSIDE the ground.....a lot of arguing and shouting coming from a locked Rovers dressing room And this is from a steward who is in the players corridor
T4E Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 News from INSIDE the ground.....a lot of arguing and shouting coming from a locked Rovers dressing room And this is from a steward who is in the players corridor Funny that as Paul Ince is on Sky Sports News right now
Bobby G Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 How do you have access to that steward, mate? Couple of punches wouldnt do any harm right now...
AggyBlue Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Webb isn't too bad, he normally gives us a few penalties. He didn't help either, he gave Wigan everything.
ABBEY Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 INCE, BE A MAN AND WALK OUT! no chance of that he actually looked relaxed on ssn
Presty On Tour Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Funny that as Paul Ince is on Sky Sports News right now What did he say? If he says we were fantastic again then he should be taken away by people in white coats.
tony gale's mic Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 News from INSIDE the ground.....a lot of arguing and shouting coming from a locked Rovers dressing room And this is from a steward who is in the players corridor 1864 you do seem to have "contacts" in the strangest places. Someone who lives near Sam Allardyce and can see into his house... A steward in the players corridor at Wigan. Hmm....
G Somerset Rover Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 What did he say? If he says we were fantastic again then he should be taken away by people in white coats. He confessed we were "dissapointing", and said he didnt see it coming after last week. Said we've still got a few games coming up where we can take wins from. If he's not gone by Monday morning then it'l be pathetic.
1864roverite Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 it came by text so I can only write what appeared in it. The Steward is actually a ROVERS Steward who looks after the VIP's in The JW Stand, so I have no reason not to accept it as being the truth. Back to the game. It appears again that we had the usual flaws, so often seen this season. No cohesive defending. Simple schoolboy errors. No pass and move football. A massive gap from defence to midfield. An even bigger gap from midfield to attack. No creativity for the forward. 4.5.1 or 4.4.1.1 formation. Players out of position. The usual set of wierd and wonderful substitutions. No will to win. No pride in the shirt. A lacklustre effort in the work ethic stakes. No simple approach to the game. Oh, FFS we can go on and on. The fact is is that Ince and co cannot prepare for a game in the correct manner. I mentioned earlier in the thread about how to approach the game, 4-4-2 and to man mark Valencia. If he had of done, we would have at least taken a point from this game. Now then, we await with trepidation, the views of Waggy and co. I wonder if he is still int eh keep Ince campaign after witnessing that shower of crap on the pitch. Rovers supporters do not deserve what theya re getting

Said we've still got a few games coming up where we can take wins from. If he's not gone by Monday morning then it'l be pathetic. I HATE the way he talks about last week like we just tonked Liverpool 4-0 that match! It was a resolute and impressive first half performance helped by a poor Liverpool first half, which descended into the usual capitulation in the second half....yet he's been going on about that performance like it was Brazil 1970! Unbelievable.
brfc4ever Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Said we've still got a few games coming up where we can take wins from. What a f*n JOKE !
