CrazyIvan Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Nah he would have missed He'd have found the back of the net instead!
Exiled_Rover Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Hopefully he performs well for Rovers until the end of the season and helps to keep us up, but I still want rid.

waggy Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Bullet????????Barrel to early in the morning i was thinking SHERIFFS BADGES
thenodrog Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 should have sold him when spurs would have paid £10 million. Where did you pluck that figure from? If that figure was even half true I'm sure that we would have done. Leave the lad alone. He provides assists, he defends, he gives l00 per cent and if all the rest of the squad did the same we would not be in the position we are now <img src="http://www.brfcs.co.uk/mb/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/glare.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="glare.gif" /> He's not the biggest culprit by far but he doesn't appear to be giving 100% imo mum.
RoyRover Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Although his game and contribution has improved over the past few games, if Fenerbache are willing to pay £1 million for him now, then I wouldn't mind if he left. His contract won't be renewed and as long as we have someone lined up to replace him, then his loss shouldn't be felt too keenly. It could also give one our young players like Hoillet, who are the future, more chances in the first team He's been a loyal servant over the years, but his contribution to the team has been minimal over the past couple of seasons. A fresh start could do him good. We will get a good price for him and get his hefty wages off the books.
tcj_jones Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 He's chipped in recently with some goals and assists and I think the booing he's received is well out of order. However, his performances in general during his time at the club have been hugely inadequate. It's too little, too late now and I want him gone. If we can get £500k, then I'd be tempted to sell and use Olsson or Hoilett on the left instead.
Majiball Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 If Gamst was to go would Sam consider Ibricic as his replacement? Surely we could get him with whats left from the fee and Ped's wages?
mellison24 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 How would people feel if he becomes something of a revelation in central midfield (with a tackler behind him -cue Sid James impressions) and he scores a few more goals and creates for others?
DeadlyDirk Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I think the only thing in Pedersen's favour is he is slightly younger and far less injury prone than Dunn and Reid who also have their contracts running out. I wouldn't be against getting rid of all 3 of them for different reasons (So our physio gets a bloody day off) if it means we can bring in say 1 or 2 quality midfielders. For me with Pedersen it's too little too late, I'd be tempted to offer him a one year deal on the same terms to see how he does next year, take it or leave it. He doesn't deserve anything better if you look at his overall form throughout the last couple of years, a one year deal would be generous.
den Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 How would people feel if he becomes something of a revelation in central midfield (with a tackler behind him -cue Sid James impressions) and he scores a few more goals and creates for others? I thought he did well at Villa. He has played there before though and not really shown anything, so I can't see a future for him in central mid - especially if Rovers go 4-4-2 as most on here want.
Hasta Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 How would people feel if he becomes something of a revelation in central midfield (with a tackler behind him -cue Sid James impressions) and he scores a few more goals and creates for others? How would I feel if that happened? Gobsmacked, amazed, astonished, dumbstruck, flabbergasted, surprised, astounded, staggered, speechless and thunderstruck.
Hughesy Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 If Gamst was to go would Sam consider Ibricic as his replacement? Surely we could get him with whats left from the fee and Ped's wages? Last time we watched him he didnt impress...so not sure.
philipl Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 If anyone else watches Turkish football, the cameras follow the players and officials into the tunnel for the routine fisticuffs afterwards. Somehow, I don't think the club on the Asian side of the Bosporous who are still seething over Souey's flag antics is where I saw MGP playing out his dotage.
Backroom Tom Posted January 27, 2010 Backroom Posted January 27, 2010 Bloody superb tonight, a great goal, superb header onto the bar, countless great balls and a brilliant corner for the goals, some good tackels as well.
super_arran Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 How would people feel if he becomes something of a revelation in central midfield (with a tackler behind him -cue Sid James impressions) and he scores a few more goals and creates for others? After tonights performance you might be on to something. P.s. He plays inside left for Norway
Backroom Tom Posted January 27, 2010 Backroom Posted January 27, 2010 I hope he signs a new contract I know 3 or 4 swallows doesn't make a summer but he has looked like he can be a real threat in there
Guest Kamy100 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Did very well today. Scored a screamer, set up the winner and worked hard all game. Sam was very pleased with his contribution and at the after match press conference said that he is very close to signing a new contract.

T4E Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Somehow Pedersen has managed to work himself in to a position whereby every goal he scores for us just makes me think he's even more of a c*nt. Too little, too late. And you're still a pussy.
