RibbleValleyRover Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 FT. Might be controversial on here but we didn't deserve that point at all. Wigan should have killed us off in the first half and should have had a penalty. The Dunny sending off was the correct decision and our equalising goal at 2-2 was blatant cheating. Rovers can't stay up this season, not with this manager and now it might be too late for any manager to come in.

Backroom DE. Posted November 19, 2011 Backroom Posted November 19, 2011 Apparently Kean went over to the Rovers fans after the match and they cheered him??
Balwer Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 3 goals conceded to the bottom team. Oh dear. Even Nigel Winterburn did better with our defense.
sam_rovers Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Kean out. The only positive from this game is that we didn't get hammered. Thank God for Victor Moses or we could have been down by 3 in the first half. No one should kid themselves and say we got an away point, it was a horrible performance. We are heading toward relegation and oblivion. KEAN AND VENKYS OUT.
roverandout Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 i suppose everthing will be forgiven by people on here now that we have scraped an undeserved point whilst cheating against a team that lost 8 in a row, wigan are really pap.
AllRoverAsia Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Play well - lose or draw, play poor - lose or draw, CHEAT - draw It's a funny old game. Wigan has the chances to get 6 or 7. Wait for numptys spin. Did Dunn get himself sent off to protect Kean by giving an excuse. Shambles and don't let the draw on paper kid you otherwise
Steve Moss Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 We needed a win and got a draw. Kean out. We got the draw by a blatant cheat. Kean out! Kean's bench was stacked with attackers. We gave up three goals to the worse PL side and couldn't manage a win. Kean OUT! That said, Robbo is a lion. Definitely should be England's No. 1. And a point is better than no point, so we still have some chance. Wake up Venkys. Kean OUT!!!
Joar Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Surely we don't have a luck deficit anymore. There was a mind-bogging amount of luck that played a part in that
Lathund Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 What a ridiculous game. Impressed by the way we played with 10 men, but we were poor before that. Horrible decision to start Dunn ahead of Formica or even a second striker. Yes the second yellow was harsh, but it was a stupid tackle, and he contributed nothing today.
beerwins Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Very strange game and very grateful for a point but if you did'nt see the game just have a look at the stats, we got absolutely battered and Kean will say the sending off changed everything but in all honesty we were better after Dunn got sent off, most of Wigans shots on goal came in the first half. Wigan are dead certs to go down this year, I have never seen a team so clueless going forward and the sad thing is is that we could'nt beat them, as things stand we are going down make no mistake.
sam_rovers Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Kean out. The only positive from this game is that we didn't get hammered. Thank God for Victor Moses or we could have been down by 3 in the first half. No one should kid themselves and say we got a a good away point, it was a horrible performance. We are heading toward relegation and oblivion. KEAN AND VENKYS OUT.
imy9 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 The only thing I will say in Keans defence is that we had Samba, Olsson, Lowe missing from our back 4 as well as Nelson, with Samba at the back we have looked better in the last few games. 43 minutes with 10 men and we win 2-1, the players showed heart and passion- we are still getting relegated, first time I have felt that way and expressed it, will the owners do anything about it? We are only just off 10th according to Kean so I suppose not.
Blueboy Downunder Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 fookin eck!! an afternoon on the amber nectar was acompanied by watery eyes when the yak equalised from the spot. dunny needs a whoops I missed off the "g" rollockin, awesome performance to come from behind (no pun intended ) twice to get a draw. HOWEVER....steve kean is and always will be a ####!! his latest comments towards the fans are unforgiveable, end of story.
alexanders Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I love you robbo ! Takling about giving it all for the colours !
Andy Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Once again, lots of effort, goals and poor defending! No prizes for guessing what we need to sort out more than anything else. Kean out, to be replaced by a proper and competent manager?
DannyKeg Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I wonder if Dave Whealen might have said something to Venkeys at HT ?

Shambles and don't let the draw on paper kid you otherwise Did Grant Holt not cheat to win the free kick that led to the equaliser at Norwich? Goes around and comes around, although I think we may have used up a seasons worth of 'rub of the green ' today
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Are we any better off...are we hell as like! Face facts folks, we are a p1ss pot of a side, not good enough, being led by a donkey for a manager.
booth Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Gutted. What a poor performance against the bottom team. Conceded 3 goals as well. Against a team that struggle to score. If this isn't proof we're going down I don't know what is.
Hekla Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Annoys the hell out of me that we have a good squad but a rubbish manager and nothing is being done.
LeChuck Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 The only thing I will say in Keans defence is that we had Samba, Olsson, Lowe missing from our back 4 as well as Nelson, with Samba at the back we have looked better in the last few games. No no no no no. Sorry, that's not right. When Kean has had everyone fit this season, he's played Salgado, Dann and Givet in the positions they played today. Also, N'Zonzi and Pedersen are his first choice holding midfielders. So the only change from the spine of the Kean's favoured defence was Hanley for Samba. No sympathy at all.
