martonrover
Shocking first half, second will continue same way and we will end up winning 2-1. Kean is such a lucky .... - just makes my blood boil. Yes, can see it happening. Ironic that we now have 2 strikers who can polish a turd. Pity we didn't have them when we had a decent team/manager. Salgado Is A Hero
Nunes has actually looked somewhat threatening. He's basically the only one. An awful half by an awful team. Top of the league and unbeaten, it's like some kind of twisted joke. Kean should be sacked at half time. Agree with all of this....get Nunes on the ball more. Murphy isn't doing the role he played at Fulham. He should be doing the role that Scholes plays nowadays; basically playing around the centre circle, collecting the ball from the back four every time and starting attacks. For some reason Kean has him running all over the shop, then when he gets the ball we have absolutely nobody moving for him to pass it to. Dann and Orr just thump it forward every time they get it as well. The "here for the money" thing is very unfair. He's actually doing a lot of running, more than he should be. It's Kean's ineptitude in setting up a functioning team unit that is making him look bad - he hasn't become a poor/lazy footballer after nearly 20 years of being an excellent pro. Exactly.....Kean just makes our players look bad because he plays them incorrectly. Formica on for Bruno....but Formica is on the wing so he won't do too much.....and Orr should have been taken off with Bruno going RB.....and Henley should have started anyway behind Vukcevic. LeChuck
Can't believe these two idiots (yes, including Hignett) on Sky blaming Givet for the goal. Givet went up for the header, he lost it admittedly, but the rest of the defence then just watch whilst Boro waltz through and the only person trying to get a challenge or block in is Givet - but it's his fault, apparently. This is my first time seeing Rovers this season. Has it been this bad all the time? Givet was definitely at fault. He's too small to be a centre half. He backed off the Boro player for a second, giving him a few seconds to get into perfect position, then belatedly decided to make a challenge. He either had to be tight to him immediately so that he couldn't get an easy path to where the ball was going, or he needed to back off completely and challenge the second ball. He ended up doing neither. Dann was also at fault, he made it far too easy for Boro. He either needed to keep backtracking towards the penalty area, or close down immediately and test Jutkiewicz's speed of thought and technique. A bit like Givet, ended up doing neither and it was far, far too easy.

Backroom DE. Posted September 21, 2012 Backroom Share Posted September 21, 2012 We've started off as badly as we ended the first half. Olsson off "injured". He won't be missed, to be honest. Why the hell are the sprinklers coming on ffs? Have we sacked the groundsmen as well?

Ferrit
Just when you think it couldn't get any worse, Hanley comes on. Keans after match excuse : " the injury meant I couldn't provide my usual master class substitutions"

Have we sacked the groundsmen as well? Mike Graham
The Groundsman "retired". It was voluntary, he was not sacked according to Agnew.
