Are there any plans to make a short sleeved version. Might be an idea with summer hols looming?

Not at the moment... as these are retro shirts and I don't think they played in short sleeves in the 1870's! :)

There are a number of other RT mechandise on the site though, including Polo Shirts I think

All goes to supporting the Trust and the charitable aims!

Alternatively - use this web link if you are buying anything on the web http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/roverstrust/?u=3F74S5 it's an easy way to raise funds, doesn't cost you anything and once you have been through this site to your purchase site of choice your preference is remembered.

oops - the link is under "shop" on www.roverstrust.com

or directly at

Things you can do tomorrow night at 7pm at AFC Darwen

You can vote in the Rovers Trust elections. (18 years old and a member as at 30th March 2013).

You can meet me, Wayne and a couple of other steering group members, for a chat about the Trust or anything you like.

You can buy one (or more) of these lovely Retro Rovers shirts for £29.99, and save the delivery cost.

A decent feature in the authoritative Forbes India Magazine:

http://forbesindia.com/article/cross-border/why-venkys-need-to-exit-blackburn-rovers-fc/35247/0

There are some errors of fact, which I'm not picking up on, but the overall piece is a solid look at what's gone wrong with the Venky's/Rovers deal over the past couple of years.

It's got some excellent points and quotes made by Dan Grabko, plus good input from Supporters Direct.

It's another independent, damning indictment of the Rao's regime and this time published in their own backyard in a highly respected business magazine.

I agree - decent piece of journalism, despite the "facts" bearing in mind the Sub-continent audience.

Keep their heads down, ignore it and it will all go away.

Like it has done every time so far.

Except we aren't going anywhere. We'll keep plugging away, pointing out where mistakes are being made.

If Singh genuinely is coming back to Ewood Park with decision-making power, then there will be plenty to point out!

There is another big story being worked on, which will make more waves when it's ready for publication.

This is part of what a supporters trust does; keeps a spotlight shining on the owners and directors of the club and asks the awkward questions.

With respect, we keep hearing this but it never lives up to the billing.

Is this really surprising? With all due respect to those involved, it didnt take a financial expert to work that this was the case.

Leicester lost £30m last year, Christ knows how much the likes of man city and Chelsea lost. Most clubs are dependent on their owners subsidising their losses and if they don't/cant then they are in trouble. We are no different.

With the new ffp we have to tighten up the wages but that's no bad thing.

When the action group do things like this they are accused of all sorts of negativity and muck raking ...how is this different ?

And when the action group do similar you would defend that when people moan

How is this different? :P

Seems both groups have somewhat loyal fanbases which itself is bizarre but it seems when one group does something then certain people complain and when its flipped another group of people complain

Lets hope there isn't a return to all the political bullshit

One of the roles of a Supporters Trust is monitor and highlight where the club are making poor decisions. Operating the club at this level of debt is clearly a matter of concern for all Rovers supporters, and it is our duty to illustrate this.

Interesting analysis. Philipl predicted a 40 million loss in November, but before the mass sackings, so his numbers must be around 55 million now.

Even with the assumption that the Raos have personally backed the club with their own finance, why have they entrusted managing such a huge loss for the season to Derek Shaw?

Bloody hell mate you must need an army of full time staff if that is the case.
