Kamy100 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 do you think that will that be because Balaji won't be able to resist an article appearing in the Indian Times again (time difference)??? If it is a uk based manager, his agent will leak it to 'friendly' journos.
cwspellowe Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 There's also the chance that this one is being done outside the likes of SEM who do like to leak stories to their favoured sports broadcaster... One can hope.
super_arran Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Anyone but Ali or ANY ex dingle! So Owen Coyles a no because he used to manage Burnley? I understand the rivalry but where's the logic?
Gav Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 If it is a uk based manager, his agent will leak it to 'friendly' journos. If it is a uk based manager, his agent will leak it to 'friendly' journos. Its no coincidence that Agnew and Shaw have been out of the country and the names remained guarded....Ummmmm
martonrover Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Thanks!I can backup what Glen is saying. I don't know who it is but sources in Pune are saying that an appointment set to be announced tomorrow. If it is going to happen tomorrow then I expect name will leak out tonight. Just in time to ruin everyone's New Year celebrations :-)
Pedro Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 David O'leary was just filling up his car at the petrol station in Whalley and went into the garage to pay at the same time as me. He also bought a snickers, some onion rings and some tic tacs. I asked him, are they all for you David? He said "No, just the tic tacs and the onion rings. The Snickers is for a man I'm meeting down the road regarding a management job." He also asked me if I knew of any estate agents in the area. Just a thought but maybe he could be on about Rovers!?
Mullionvagrant Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 “A manager is available now who wasn’t at the time of Henning’s appointment and we have looked at him,” said Shebby Singh 21st Dec http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/blackburn-chief-hints-henning-berg-1501058 i knew i didn't dream this. Article is by Alan Nixon though so yes to probably be ignored. Does include a direct quote!!!!
Rover_Shaun Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Singh said it at the Radio Lancs fans Q&A charade
chaddyrovers Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 would people be happy with David O'Leary??? maybe that manager wasnt available family illness or something like that. Doesnt mean he was in job. just speculating btw.

greco Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Its no coincidence that Agnew and Shaw have been out of the country and the names remained guarded....Ummmmm They could just use a phone gav.

Makes Singh look even more stupid than we thought, looking at other managers whilst Berg was still in charge, what a numpty. Hughes won't come near us, I'm sure of that.
Rover_Shaun Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Hoddle? Brown? Or another one of the uninspiring out of work nomarks?

Article is by Alan Nixon though so yes to probably be ignored. Does include a direct quote!!!! I was at that Bloggers evening and those words did not come out of anyones mouth. If I remember correctly someone asked, If it does not work out with Berg would we have another 5 week wait for a manager to come in? The answer was simply circumstances change all the time, some manager could be out of work or available in the future who were not perhaps available at the time. However Berg is the Manager and we should not be discussing a replacement already?
USABlue Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 interesting that interviews have taken place and not one leak, appointment on for tomorrow It's not coincidence heckel and jeckel were out of the country is it?
Gav Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 They could just use a phone gav. Not if they don't know who's been interviewed greco.

Did he have Ray Wilkins 'Wilpshire Property Dossier'?
Gav Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Makes Singh look even more stupid than we thought if he actually said that, looking at other managers whilst Berg was still in charge, what a numpty. Hughes won't come near us, I'm sure of that.
USABlue Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Personally I'd love Hoddle, actually wanted him before we got Souness. Big fat no chance though.
