Yep. Tony Field/Malcolm McDonald/Duncan McKenzie( I think) all sold by Lee.I l did love that 1974-5 team, though!

I won't weep for Olsson. Any truth in the toilet story?

The toilet story was a new one on me but a few of the Rovers fans at Cardiff witnessed his staying on the coach strop.

Unless I was watching an episode of The Undateables I'd be a bit concerned if anyone's hand could be snapped off at the elbow (especially so if he was a goalkeeper).

Yeah Yeah Yeah....Roll on 2016-17

Yes it's true, he's toilet

They will have to prise him off the toilet seat or the back seat of the bus to sign his dcfc contract.

Fans player of the season last season but threw his toys out of the pram recently....not the attitude we want at Ewood.

His brother was Even worse. Will end up on bench for Derby but Spurr is worrying...

I think Spurr just needs games tbh. He was very good in his first season and unfortunate to lose his place originally. I think he can do a job there. I really do.

I'm not a fan of Markus, he's quick and that's about it. His positional sense when defending is appalling.

I think it's a strange one for Derby, Warnock is a better player and there is no chance Markus is good enough to be a premier league left back. Seem to be buying purely because they can.

His attitude stinks, especially for someone who was only signed to placate his brother when he initially threatened to leave.

Olssen's not a natural defender, neither was his brother. Anybody else remember Aaron Lennon ripping the @#/? out of him and getting him sent off at Spurs ? He looked like he'd never played left back before in his life ! Our Olssen looks good going forward because nobody else on our books does. Not enough end product for all the huff and puff in my opinion. Unless Warnock's gone backwards a lot I'd swap him for Olssen.

All I see is the guy we voted player of the season a matter of months ago, a player we only saw fit to offer a short deal to, want to move on to better himself and provide himself with more job security. He's a good player at this level and I can't help but feel there's a lot of sour grapes.

Let's see what he does at his new club then. His " better " brother can't catch a pretty average Norwich team.

Left back a priority if Ollson goes. Spurr won't be the same since his groin problem (which wasn't fully sorted).

Anyone seen this kid Jordan Preston play? Will he get a chance next season? Always gives everyone a lift having a youth player come through with enthusiasm.

That is the problem for me, as well. I can only hope it's his lack of matches/ring rust etc But Olsson has delighted me long enough/quote]

"We all know him to be a proud, unpleasant sort of man, but this would be nothing if he could really play....."

Your turn Leonard!

At the moment i'm not sure enough people even rate him to he considered overated.

He was being linked with a big money move Spain recently.

God knows why.

Personally cannot wait until his loan expires and we can bring someone else in.

As for Olsson going, and Spurr being the last name on the team sheet. Have people forgotten we are out of the embargo, and will be able to sign a replacement with money.

We signed him for free and look to get in the region of £400,000 for him.

I maintain, his passing, defending and crossing leaves a lot to be desired, which kind of makes him a bit pointless unless all you are looking for is speed.

If Lambert does some research. I don't see why we couldn't bring in someone better.

Chris Gunter for RB is still an option I think would be worth looking at seeing as his contract expires in the summer.

Also think Brentford's James Tarkowski is massively underrated and Alex Pritchard (was class for Brentford last season) who is a Spurs attacking midfielder/winger would be a brilliant option on loan.

The fact that Olsson was player of the season last year tends to sum up the size of the problem for me.

Massive overhaul of the squad is needed, very few worth keeping as in my opinion we have too many overpaid no marks.

I just pray we can keep championship status so Lambert can make by major changes come end of season.

Gunter is a good shout.

If we are looking to sign a creative centre midfielder why not look at Brentford Josh McEachran

I would be looking at Peterbrough Midfielder Jermaine Anderson when fit.

Lambert said the number 10 player he wants is someone he has been chasing since the beginning of the window, so I'm assuming the players current club wants to see how things pan out in the window before making a call on the situation.

Could be a youngster like Pritchard at Spurs in that respect, at the start of the window there was talk of him getting a chance in the Spurs side rather than going out on loan but that really depends on Spurs own situation. He is probably behind Alli, Eriksen, Lamela and Chadli at the moment there so maybe there is a chance. Would love it if we went in for him.

Yes and Spurr was the player of the season the year before.

Was it not Tom Cairney the season before? Regardless of whether Spurr is good enough or not, we need cover in that position once Olsson is gone, preferably someone who is an improvement on Spurr.

Spurt was never player of the season here. He was at Donny the season before he came here...

I'm not being funny here and don't want it to appear like I'm picking on you as I do enjoy your posts and links to transfer news, but how can you suggest Anderson?Only the other day you didn't know who he was?I seen someone suggesting him on your Twitter and you didn't know him?Now you think we should sign him?You did the same thing with Connor Washington, you had to ask Neal what sort of player he was and then a few days later you say you could see Lambert going for him?

Hopefully if he did join Rovers he's no relative of Jerome.

Agreed. Creative midfielder the priority by far for me.

Lambert has a history of signing players from lower league clubs. Did so at Norwich and Villa.

I think we should be looking for gems from the lower league clubs aswell from players out of favour at PL Clubs
