Nobody has suggested this option for getting rid of the horrible cretins: good, old fashioned prayer.

Has to be worth a try surely

Worth a try , but know for a fact good old fashioned voodoo doesn't work, although quite therapeutic for a minute or two

Its down to the "two ians" to prove the owners are lying.

Personally (and om just going of instinct and my normally very accurate bs detection senses here) but i trust and believe "the two ians" glen mullen, etv.. Just as little as i believe the venkys and there cohorts.

I personally think they're just @#/? stirrers with an agenda and they have been since day 1(

Clown! Loathed to comment as this idiot knows less than nothing and I don't want to give him any credence.

2 years.

That's how long it has been since the last 'communication' from the owners which was a lengthy statement on the club website assessing Gary Bowyer's first full season as manager. I remember reading that statement, obviously drafted by Mr PR Alan Myers, and having optimism for the future after things had settled down and we had a manager and squad worthy of Blackburn Rovers.

2 years on and what has changed?

We're in even more debt.

We've got a weaker squad, weaker management team, weaker/non-existent board, and still no input from our esteemed owners.

I'm glad that they have seen fit to release this statement after 2 weeks of speculation, but it really doesn't help. If they had added paragraphs to deal with future plans if they aren't leaving, future finance, future managers, future staffing appointments, then I might think there is some hope going forward, yet they stop short of all that, as usual.

I wonder where we'll be 2 years from now when they release their next statement.

I'd just urge as many as possible to join Rovers Trust now, we need to unite under something and this is probably the best way. We need a voice to publically and regularly speak out against these lot and the stronger that voice the better.

All those who are now boycotting put a tenner into this. All those who want these @#/?s gone UNITE !

I Koi, he the owner of some Japanese carp, have come across certain media reports called calendars stating that today is Tuesday. I wish to clarify that there is no truth in these calendars. I, the owner of a dog and a Honda, have no interest in today being a Tuesday or even half the day being a Tuesday. I am totally committed to tomorrow being another day different to yesterday.

They have worded it the statement very cleverly - JOINT being the operative word - not a lie in their statement

It is a lie. Joint ownership can be 50:50, 75:25 etc. Their statement says 'joint' not 'equal'.

Why are you trying to defend them?

My only suggestion right now is to Boycott Ewood. It's easier for me (living in Cardiff), but fans need to dig their heels in and refuse to attend. I certainly won't be renewing.

Funny a twitter account @SEM_NW posted very similar, which is apparently a football consultant reccomending players to most respected agency in the business

I'm not at all , I'm just trying to work out how they can deny the approach

Why are you trying to defend them?

SEM? Oh God,don't tell me those criminals are still in charge. This chaos proves that every season ticket, every shirt and every scarf is unintentionally backing the worst owners in English football. Boycott, join the trust, protest, picket or whatever you can do to act against Venky's. Hell, hack into their corporate sites and fill it with pictures of midget clown porn!

That statement sums Venky's up. Arrogant, disrespectful, half-hearted and crass. It seems like nothing short of a meteorite landing directly on their crib whilst they watch our games "beamed back" will get them out of this club. Saying that, they'd probably find a way to continue destroying us from beyond the grave.
