Doaksie Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Mowbray seems to be a big advocate of having senior heads around the side, and the influence they can have (judging from early interviews), so I'm not shocked to see him stick with Conway and Feeney. He maybe feels they have the experience for the battle and both have high(ish) work rates. With the option of Mahoney from the bench as an impact sub. Not sure I entirely agree with him, but it's his neck on the line, not mine.
Mike Graham Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Just seen we are playing tonight, Rovers kept that quiet. Feel knackered so an early night when I get in, will follow the game on the good old BRFCS Messageboard. i hope we manage a win.
duggy9197 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Surley it would be better to start Mahoney and bring Feeney on against tired legs, dissapointed TM.

Backroom Tom Posted February 28, 2017 Backroom Posted February 28, 2017 Conway is a bigger issue than feeney You keep the Senior heads in to keep it secure yet Conways tracking has cost us 2 goals in the last 2 games
Bigdoggsteel Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I would like to see mahoney start in all honesty. It would give everyone a boost. I can understand holding him back a bit as well though. It's a tough call. He is a great lad to bring on though
Backroom trueblue Posted February 28, 2017 Backroom Posted February 28, 2017 Fingers crossed for a win.... Heaven knows we need it !!!!
Rover_Shaun Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I stopped reading after the 3rd line on the Rovers team sheet. It stuck in my craw
Bigdoggsteel Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 What's the atmosphere like at the game?
Ryan Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Is Lowe playing in midfield then with Mulgrew at centre half?

Has he played there much or was that just a temporary measure? Lowe seems to get mixed reviews on here so not sure if he's the better option or not. Is Wes Brown just not an option at CB ?

Going forward, Mulgrew should definitely be in centre mid but as we are struggling at CB, he's needed there. Hoban coming back will hopefully solve that. No idea on brown, don't even know why we signed him when Scott Warton was doing well. The less said about Lowe the better I think.
Backroom Tom Posted February 28, 2017 Backroom Posted February 28, 2017 Nyambe booked slightly harshly but they could exploit that now Not a great game so far miserable weather
Bigdoggsteel Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Those of you who piddled and moaned about me saying Blackburn instead of rovers, have obviously never tried to follow one of our games on twitter whilst Raith rovers and Bristol Rovers are playing at the same time
