I am one of few who think that Wolves should have kept O'Neil in the first place. Looking at where they are 12 months on from potting him seems like it was only putting off the inevitable. As has been pointed out selling the club's best players and replacing them with inferior replacements leads to trouble. 1 Quote

He was doing terrible when they left, everything had gone into chaos, discipline had totally gone and they appeared doomed. Pereira came in and did a great job rescuing them which made him a candidate for manager of the season. Wolves fans appear to be absolutely fuming about his potential reappointment. Quote
