The winning team can get caught in two minds - do we press on for more goals or do we defend what we’ve got and try to conserve energy ? The losing team can only play one way, go all out and try and get back into the game. Anybody else at Maine Road when we went 2-0 up after about 10 minutes only to lose 2-3 to a David White hat trick ? Quote

I wasn't at that game but I was at another at Maine Road when Rovers lost 3-2 after going 2-0 up. I think it was 1992-93 without looking. It was pouring down. I also think it was Patrik Andersson's debut. A Rovers flop who ended up starring at Bayern Munich. Edited December 31, 2025 by speeeeeeedie Quote
chaddyrovers Posted December 31, 2025 Author Posted December 31, 2025 Dingles played better second half. Edwards looks quality tho. Fair Play to Edwards and Wolves. Good point there, defensive better and solid. Still only 3 points this season in total. West Ham and Brighton was good game. Welbeck's second pen, just put in the net for FFS. Too fancy and don't convert it. Arsenal's quality shown against Villa Chelsea and Bournemouth were entertaining Everton beat Forest. Its looks like 2 teams from 4 plus Wolves will be then bottom 3 this season Then the title race is between 3 teams. Arsenal and Man City plus maybe Villa if they get signings in. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted Saturday at 15:54 Author Posted Saturday at 15:54 Wolves 3 nil up against West Ham. Oh my god, how bad are West Ham. Burnley losing to Brighton Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted Saturday at 16:01 Posted Saturday at 16:01 our neighbours have never got the hang of this premiership have they🙂 where are those two dingle f**kwhits who used to come on here crowing???? west ham look doomed, karma imo for very dislikeable owners who conned a new stadium and got the public to pay for it 1 Quote

GHR Posted Saturday at 16:10 Posted Saturday at 16:10 West Ham are horrid, a thoroughly dislikeable club. This feels like a once in a decade chance to flush them down to a diddy league in their nice big, soulless council house. Cry about Moyes winning you a European trophy in a manner not to your suiting whilst you grind out a 0-0 away at Derby, fuckers. 1 Quote

Hasta Posted Saturday at 16:16 Posted Saturday at 16:16 We could just do with Forest winning a couple and then both claret and blues are deep, deep in the mire. 2 Quote

Unfortunately if they come down they will throw money at it, and probably walk the league Then we have to listen to the gloat about how they are too big for this league ad will soon be back where they belong 1 Quote

However, again as per Blues, it will be very funny whilst it lasts. We must cherish such moments. Mind you, I appreciate that if you are down in Kent you will have it worse in the West Ham stakes. For similar reasons, I am desperate for Villa's form to drop off as the season progresses! 1 Quote
Rogerb Posted Saturday at 16:52 Posted Saturday at 16:52 Potential for Wolves to finish above the dingles. 3 Quote

I wonder if they would take him back now. 3 Quote

Fans dont deserve it.They always have followed their team in their thousand's home and away..a passionate, loyal Bunch. They had their spiritual home Upton Park sold from under their feet and the fans now cant stand this Stadium many claim is not fit for Football. Shit Owners....Christ,we know all about that! As for the Dingle Dongles, their demise is about the only thing putting a smile on my face atm. Edited Saturday at 17:57 by SIMON GARNERS 194 Quote
