I don't see the point of developing another PL youth player for them, when we need experience at the back. I doubt we're looking for wingers with Dolan and Hedges coming back, as well has having just signed Sigurdsson on a perm.

From what I've seen, Sigurdsson most definitely is not a winger, and Hedges is too slow. We need some pace.

Then the fans should put pressure on him to be sacked. The reality is we can’t judge him if we don’t give him any tools to do his job. He’s currently trying to build a football team with an ongoing excuse of financial difficulties in the background.

Won't happen. Is there real pressure on Waggott from anywhere to be sacked?

Broughton will fritter away whatever money is allocated and we'll limp on, business as usual.

There should be tons of pressure on him.

Not reckon Waggott brought in GB to take pressure away from himself?

If so he's achieved his goal with you.

Had an idea.

Instead of selling every youngster worth anything at the drop of a hat, why not keep hold of them for as long as possible, they would give us a better chance of reaching the PL - then we could keep them and even add to them with even better players?

How does that plan compare to the plan since JW died?

They're both as bad as one another, nowhere have I ever said Waggott shouldn't be sacked, I detest the man.

Credit to the lad but we will get so little of it to invest in the team. Like Rhodes, Armstrong, Hanley and Duffy before him, Jones come to think of it, an insulting low amount will be ploughed back into the team. The downward trend continues.

Steady on den.

We'll have no common sense on here. That plan would give us the best chance of success AND give us some genuine hope to hold on to.

Give yourself a stern talking to.

We sold all our best players under Jack and hired a crap manager, hence the relegation.  We also hired Paul Ince under the rightly respected John Williams.  This lot of course are on another planet.

I feel I can say this categorically but neither of the Wharton boys will be motivated just by the money of premier league clubs - one look at their haircuts tells you that!

Massive shame we've (to my gut) heavily pressured a 19 year old local lad out the door.  Be feeling even worse when the FB groups parade it as a Bellingham style outgoing rather than the penny pinch it actually is

What's GB done wrong?

He's never had any budget?

Come on, he hasn't had a massive budget, but has signed THREE strikers who haven't scored a single Championship goal for us and blew the summer budget on Wahlstedt.

And he also signed Szmodic who is the championship top scorer and has 21 goals in 29 appearances this season.

Wahlstedt is his major mistake.

However the three strikers were all brought in for nothing. He wanted better strikers then Enny and Telly in the Summer but wasn't given the money.

If rumours are to be believed he wanted that Adams who moved to a french club instead for 4 or 5 million and is now being looked at by clubs for a possible 20 million

He doesn’t make the signings. Do some basic research instead of typing dross off your 2003 dell PC.

The owners will be delighted with Broughton. Selling a kid for £20+m - a kid they wouldn't recognise if he knocked on their front door. Broughton will be feted by that lot as he has saved them from embarrassment amongst the Indian elite.
