These 2 keepers simply cannot play again

We need a journeyman pro/early 30’s or someone who has slipped down the order in the prem and wants a game.

Don't torture yourself. If you're thinking we're getting a new keeper in January, when we have two senior keepers that I believe we've spent a combined 1.2 million on (700k of that very recently), with our pathetic budget, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. If we get any money together in January (big if) it will go on a forward first and foremost.

Selling Kaminski was a huge mistake, albeit inevitable after foolishly keeping him benched when he came back from injury and Pears was wobbling.

Let's not do that. He's been so bad since he arrived. Smaller errors are still errors, he's had some howlers already and anything that goes near him looks like resulting in a goal. Not scapegoating but you have to say what you see.

That's not what you've seen though, it's an exaggeration. He has been disappointing so far, but he has made some good saves also. If anything that goes near him looked like resulting in a goal, he wouldn't have made any good saves, or kept any clean sheets.

Could've been deflected, fair, I didn't see that myself. But if that's what you call a "wicked" shot then we certainly have different standards.

I've adjusted my standards to accommodate the clogger's league we're in.

That type of shot, with that type of deflection, ends up in the back of the net multiple times every weekend up and down the country.

Wahlstedt?

I haven't seen enough of him to give a definitive answer about how good he'll be - he obviously needs to work on how he handles crosses.

That said, it's no coincidence that we've won 4 of the 6 Championship games he's started (and kept 2 clean sheets). He's significantly better than Pears and I don't understand how that's even a question.

One of those clean sheets was against a team that mustered a whole 2 shots on target, and of the teams he’s faced 5 have been bottom half of the league.

I can’t remember a keeper who had so much trouble catching the ball.  So if that’s a promising start then I can only assume that your last name is either Wahlstedt or Broughton.

Excellent result. I thought before the game it would be a tough game but I underestimated how bad Norwich are. We completely outclassed them.

Hill with an absolute defensive masterclass. He's a top player. Dolan had one of his best games in a Rovers shirt I thought. Sammie did what Sammie does.

I felt Wharton got some of the ball and I didn't think it was a red. But I doubt it will be overturned as it's not an obvious mistake from the ref.

The injuries are stacking up which is a concern. Intl break will come at a good time for us but one game to get through first.

Of the three goalies we have Wahstedt is the best of the ones and also he is new in the team and need to know his team mates to be more decisive.... I think he's done well and we are playing better at the back with him in the team.

I think Leo will come good but he's not at the level required at the moment imo. We don't have a good GK in our ranks right now which is a concern.

Love the viscious replies to todays match from preston, they truly are, absolute vile jack russells with one of the biggest cases of small man syndrome I have ever seen.

They are calling for our players to be out of the picture and injured, they want us down and out, cannot wait to paste them on friday.

They pretend to hate Blackpool, but only because we disregard them as an irrelevant local rival.

Still calling us plastics when we havnt been in the prem for over a decade.

A true small club.

We've also made a subtle change in our play for those games, not as gung-ho and open at the back.

yes I know....but Carter will be back and its a derby!

Carter supposedly out for 2-3 weeks. Doubt he's back on Friday. Maybe get a couple back after the break

Don't know what the issue was with JRC, hopefully not too bad
