Maybe, just maybe its not over yet...

They aren't trying to hide their policy of putting cost cutting before all else. They have cut off all contact with the fan groups and removed any players with any affinity for the fans or the club. They are whittling away at the old guard ( Waggott, Lowe etc ) until they ( Pasha and Gestede ) have complete autonomy to do as their friends in low places desire them to do.

My only hope is that it all seems so obvious and brazen that it might be a one final fling before they finally leave us in peace.

It won't, they are taking these measures of almost self administered admin to stop it actually ending up in admin where they'd then surely lose the club but maybe still have a 100 million quid overdraft in India to be liable for.

They are digging in to cling on to the grim end wherever we end up and only something major with the investigation or whatever will alter that imo.

The 'model' they are now trying will have been recommended to them by the usual suspects who stand to do very nice out of it indeed.

The «model» is a death spiral - no way they’ll attract the same talent again (as recent sales) with the limited levels of spending we are seeing now. Pasha possibly understands this(?), but as long as he can keep the lights on he’ll continue to make a fortune for a few more years (where else would he get x100k per year? Don’t forget - 500k x 10 years = 5 mill). As long as the overlords in India don’t interfere he’s good👍

Only read some snippets of exchanges between Gestede and fans - Gestede comes across like a smug / ignorant / arrogant **** or is it just me? Totally defensive on any criticism and in an attempt to justify decision making.

Not a good look and seems petty.

Well well the worm is wriggling around now and starting to come out in daylight - we have another jerome anderson here- beleive me now this season is going to be worse than the kean era - 

 

Gestede calling everything around the club thinks he is the main man

Harry leonard questioning him with his approach to academy players and staff - he was ment to go bradford on loan instead gestede put feelers out to get him gone for questioning rudy - something whats learnt in the academy TO ASK QUESTIONS

Let’s not forget, it’s a case of him now making decisions, when he has previously been happy to force a move and announce, he was not in the right frame of mind to play for the club.

Just simply not someone we want invovled with the running of our Club.He's zero prior experience at this level,still learning his trade and comes across as a loose Cannon..very divisive and dangerous.

Full agree about both of these people, especially about the last line about cowardice.

No doubting that people like him, are happy to threaten people who they consider to be inferior to them and go off crying, once they receive the proverbial punch on the nose.

And there is so much known about the negative impact of a bullying culture on morale, performance, staff retention-in particular, the impact on the motivation of an organisation's best staff..

I always felt that our positive culture/camaraderie etc was a key reason that the team managed to punch so far above its weight-particularly under Eustace.

Now, not only has that been eroded, it seems to have been replaced by the polar opposite.

So, do we think this more or less likely to help the team survive  a very challenging season?

Let's face it we have seen that before and unless I am very much mistaken, Henning Berg and Derek Shaw, were both paid substantial amounts, having done so.

Aye, but who IS the club in this context? We forget at our peril that the only constant since this whole nightmare began is the shadow-man, and he has shown time and time again complete contempt for others, disdain for due process and total ignorance of the law in this country as regards the treatment of employees. His one trick pony tactic is simply to put others between him and the full scrutiny of those who question what is going on at the club. He also knows that should he step into the light, for example in a 'fans forum' type meeting, he would be rapidly exposed for the rat that he is - which is why, of course, we never hear a peep from him, because he knows he is that close to being undone.

We can see RG is a knob, and perhaps that is his role and his level of capability, so he is very easily supplanted. 

What would happen if Suhail Pasha Shaikh was held to account and removed from the picture? - well that is a very interesting question for which it is becoming high time we had an answer.

Imo Waggot was a bit dodgy in that classic slippery football suited kind of way and he himself was over promoted ending up as CEO here.

However he had a set way of working and stuck to it and i think that has played a huge role in holding this club back and simply refusing to step up a gear or take the odd calculated gamble. That being said though he also kept it competitive, steady and in business whilst at least being an official challenger to the pillock in the shadows preventing him from doing everything as he pleased.

So now i think we can wave goodbye to calm waters and hello to sink or swim, it'll either click and somehow work well or it'll go spectacularly wrong.

If these comments to people are genuinely true and they have evidence - it shouldn’t be on here. It should be reported.

Until it is reported and acted on, it’s online tittle tattle as far as I’m concerned. The fact it’s accusing someone of forcing religion on others is incredibly divisive too.

Nope. Remarkable example of how fickle some of our fans are. When Rudy has had 5 years to achieve little to nothing, been part of umpteen players to leave due to contract issues and overseen back to back winter transfer windows with deals falling down due to paperwork, I’ll join you on this comment.

It shouldn't be overlooked that Waggott, like Mowbray, had a direct connection to the Indians.

This is of critical importance in the weird heirarchy and power struggle that we have witnessed here over the years. Now that the shadow dweller is the last man standing with that direct connection to India he has carte blanche to crack on with his agenda. A bit like in 2015 once Bowyer and Shaw had been ousted and he was able to play games with Lambert and Coyle beneath him. 

Mowbray's flight to India following relegation in 2017 interrupted that as Mowbray did what Mowbray does and won over those listening to him in Pune. Part of that meant they trusted him to recommend a CEO to do the upstairs work and along comes Waggott. Of course a total coincidence that they had worked at Coventry together just a few years previous. 

Waggott was also allowed to go out there with Mowbray and say his bit to those at the top table and off the back of it secured himself year after year of lucrative employment with probably little-no pressure from the Indians to actually deliver a great deal.

I would be astonished if any of the top brass in India ever put him or Mowbray under any serious pressure in terms of performance, results, targets, growth, league status, attendances, facilities etc.

Strikes me as something of a ghost ship here - once you are in and get the thumbs up from the Indians you are just left alone to coast along - pros and cons with that sort of routine - the downside being zero communication, direction etc to the point where you are literally your own boss and left to fend for yourself.

Things start to unravel if you expect more or better of them or dare demand or criticise them - but as long as you are willing to put up with this upwards/reverse hierarchy you're laughing. That is until the shadow dweller reasserts himself and re-establishes control and then the party comes to an end. 

I would be fascinated to know the truth about who the shadow dweller truly acts for and represents because from where I'm sat there is a clear divergence between what he has been overseeing the last 10 years and what people like Mowbray, Waggott and Bowyer were up to with their direct connection to the bigwigs. 

Often we get 'the owners' chucked out there as a term for who is running the show and making the decisions but that is really quite unhelpful. Even if we accept that 'Venkys' are the only ones who are the owners of the club, we already know there are four in their inner sanctum all with likely different ways of operating, then there's their children, and other board members/hangers on/family members, advisors, finance people. Quite the tangled web. Like who is the other Rao bloke who is on the board who, allegedly, turned up for a game recently (how anyone knows what he looks like I don't know).
