Put this here as suspect Rudy is the type to read this thread. Saw a lad yesterday playing for Bamber Bridge only recently arrived from Thornton Cleveleys. Way too good for this level. Archie Thomas Lang a 20 year old midfielder with a man of the match performance. Go and have a look Rudy rather than trawling the basement of the Belgian leagues.

You think back to the spine and camaraderie we had through the team last year - Eustace-Travis-Batth-Brittain-Hyam-Dolan-Weimann - you could see it on the pitch - real togetherness and fighting spirit and mates off the pitch as well.

This lot....good grief. It's enough to make you weep especially when you look at how Derby, Wrexham and Middlesbrough are getting on now and think about the willingness with which Rovers fans were willing to support and go along with that 'project' to dismantle what we had and replace with this lot. 

Still look on the bright side, the lowlife and their stooges have saved themselves a chunk of cash. Just a shame that will be wiped out with interest when we get relegated.

This may have been mentioned in another thread, but for anyone on X/Twitter, there is a prank call with Gestede that is going to be released by @BRFCPrivy7414. One has already been released with Pasha who said Pearsy is for sale but "Gestede is the one to speak to about transfers".

It could, of course, be AI generated (who can tell these days!) but it seems legit.

I did see the first releases earlier today, but my first impressions were that it was an attempt to divert heat away from Pasha.

Had an amusing moment with my little girl who has just turned 3, still trying to grasp numbers and negotiating etc. 

Me: Right 5 more minutes of playing then we've got to start getting ready for bed

Why not ask about one of our best players - Cantwell, Tronstad, or Hyam (at the time). 

Plus the clips are around 30 seconds long. 

Missed opportunity to really stitch them up.

I’d need to hear the full call, because I’m fairly sure even Gestede would want to know who he was talking to before going into any of those details regarding players. Plus that negotiating is like what someone on work experience would do 👀

I would say that it's impossible for any professional in a negotiation to sell a player to bring up that the team is prone to losing when that player is on the pitch.

However, this is the same club that said Gueye didn't train properly and had the captain laughing at him in a widely circulated video - whilst we were trying to sell him - so who knows.

Exactly, just release the whole call at this point. The short clips are just dull and there's not been anything that damaging from those clips.

Still can't fathom why a prank caller would get through to them and decide to ask about our reserve GK. Doesn't make any sense.

Ask whether they are willing to sell our captain and then there would be uproar from the fans if they were trying to flog him. Hard to really care what has been said about selling a second rate GK.
