Morning Everyone, just letting everyone know that I've just handed in my resignation to the Fans Forum.

I'm sure there will be a replacement announced in due course.

Being completely honest, this has been on the cards for a while, but I've tried to soldier on.

Sitting in a room and remaining civil with people I believe are responsible for the destruction of the club has just become too difficult. This, coupled with all the drama surrounding the release of the minutes and criticism of forum members has made me question why I'm doing it at all, to be honest. I can certainly think of better ways to spend my time.

I've not been able to achieve what I set out to do and because I don't think the club will prosper until our owners leave, I think sitting in a room with them quarterly, just adds to this frustration.

No matter what people may think of my contribution, I know that I never let anyone off the hook, always held the club responsible and without blowing my own trumpet, I'm confident I represented the message board with pride.

Thankyou for trying your best, given up your free time and asking questions to the Rovers management that people asked you too.

Thanks again K-Hod

I think that might be what it is.

The rumour was that somebody removed him way back, maybe 10 years ago, to trim down the coaching staff. Only for him to be reinstated by Pasha, with both of them going to Pune to get it sealed. He has since been promoted and has become the eyes and ears of Pasha around the place and also appears to be part of a coaching package that new managers have to accept.

He has connections to the old agency crew, but I think that might just be coincidence. The logical explanation has to be that Pasha and Co rate him as a coach and want to keep him around for as long as possible. We know how loyal they are to those they like. Take Kean for example.

The issue here for me is, if he has been sacked/released, as mentioned a few weeks back in the LT...who has made this decision and why does Pasha not know about it? He's the head honcho here and a trusted Venky employee. Why is the news a surprise to him? (as suggested in the latest minutes). If he wasn't pretending to be surprised before the forum and he genuinely didn't know, it could add weight to the theory that he is just a face here and that the real string pullers are elsewhere.

Another poster shared an opinion that there might be two opposing camps in the building and that this is why there are often tales of 'power struggles'. I'm of the same view. In my opinion, it feels as if we have a 'normal' camp and a 'numbers' camp. The 'normal' camp is the one the public sees and hears from. This camp consists of 'normal' footballing people operating under 'normal' football principles i.e ambition, trying to win, strategy, having plans in place, a desire for promotion etc. I think the likes of JDT, Broughton, Eustace, Ismael and Rudy are in this camp. The people in this camp come here thinking we are a 'normal club' and expect to find normality, but they are always left disappointed in the end.

Then there's the 'numbers' camp which remains largely in the background and are seemingly headed by one individual. The same individual with the old agency links that never seem to go away, hence why, even if it's just theory and there's nothing to it, the coincidences appear to keep on leading back towards this direction.

It's been a theme for many years...that things run 'normally' for a short while, everybody's aligned, fans, manager and players, optimism is in the air, then boom. Camp two strikes, whether that be because the 'numbers' can't be met for new signings, can't increase wages, can't push for promotion due to funds, can't meet what the manager is demanding or expecting etc and we always end up going back to square one. Cue the infighting between the "positive v negative" divide in the fanbase. A new 'project', a new 'journey'. More ins and outs. Who wins here? It has been like this for a very long time. So who exactly is winning out of the constant churns and resets?

This does make a lot of sense and may even explain why we always capitulate in the second half of the season.

Suhail won't be at the next one, not a chance.

A newly appointed CEO will be there to shoulder it all.

Club has had that sinking everything falling apart feeling before but my gut tells me this is worse now.

Because there is no 20 million to throw in to cover the cracks, no finger in the dyke manager and not ONE real football administrator in whatever void they call a boardroom.

Not even a Derek Shaw.

Frightening stuff.

With K-Hods resignation as the BRFCS nominated spokesperson (thank you once more for your ongoing commitment to BRFCS and giving up your valuable spare time @K-Hod), the BRFCS owners have spoken and the decision was made to not send a representative as it seems to be a complete waste of valuable volunteered time.

Then, I decided if we’re not going at all, we may as well go out in style.

I will be representing BRFCS at the next Fans Forum meeting. Please send me your questions via private message.
Buckle up, Suhail, it’s showtime.

Good luck Josh

It will be the New CEO, Yasir and LT at the meeting. maybe Ismael or Gestede or Owen at the odd one

I must have missed a CEO being appointed.

Wouldn't be a surprise to be fair if we ever do appoint one for him to take the flak at these meetings whilst snaky Suhail avoids any fan interaction and just silently continues to do Venkys work and destroy the club.

You seem quite invested so presumably you have read the previous minutes.

Who says it going to a male? Could be female CEO appointment?

Man, woman, plant pot, makes no difference because whatever their job title and whatever the PR spin they won't be CEO in practice and will be a stooge/shield for Venkys and their man in the shadows.

Sadly I think you and plenty of others will line up and accept whatever they do next embracing it as a 'new era' but it won't be.

Pasha can read the room and he will be on the hotline for a 6-12 month consultancy role to come in with a fancy title, suit and impressive talk for the next forum meeting, just once we've got the rest of these decent players out the door, that's much more urgent.

Fair play @K-Hod it’s a stance I took myself over a decade ago after trying and failing to make change, once you’ve been lied to directly to your face (by Suhail and Balaji himself) you lose a lot of hope. Huge respect to those in the various fan groups that toil away in the background despite all this. It was too much for me and it pains me to say I was beaten by it and my love for the club faded ever since. I’m a passenger now.

I’d never tell anyone what to do or how to support or protest but I think the entire fans forum resigning would be a huge signal of unity in the fanbase against the regime but I know that wouldn’t happen and respect those that think the forum is the right vehicle for their hope of change.

There's an "end of days" feeling about Rovers now. How long can Venkys put off the final countdown?

How will it end? How many relegations before they've had enough? Can they close the team down completely?

They were ruthless with the Women's team after all.

How do we think it will end?

It won't.

We'll plod on at whatever level we're at, at minimum funding.

There is no hope or future.
