Anyone with a braincell saw Wharton and Carter getting injured for long periods and we should have already had cover. As for the hamstring injuries, a combination of our neglected facilities and nonexistent squad rotation absolutely have contributed. This is at least in part because the squad they've built isn't trusted because it isn't good enough. Ismael has clearly had a massive say in building this squad with Gestede, Owen and the scouts. That was dumb move with Carter. Extra centre defender should have be signed before allowing Hyam to move on. is our training ground facilities been neglected? You could have said say the same last season or previous seasons when the head coach wouldn't have rotation the squad as much as the should especially in cup games Quote

roverandout Posted Friday at 14:29 Posted Friday at 14:29 (edited) Absolutely do not want Mowbray back. He'll be as bad as the others. Slow build play down promotion. We want a jdt. Someone who will get us near or in the playoffs and hope by some miracle he gets us promoted despite the club wanting the opposite. Edited Friday at 14:31 by roverandout 2 Quote

We need 3 or 4 signings this window and 3 or 4 out of the squad like Gueye, Ribeiro, De Neve and Carter. Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted Friday at 15:48 Posted Friday at 15:48 As much as new signings, we need a new manager. Every game he's in charge of, is a game closer to relegation. 3 Quote

Fucking hell give me another Mowbray any day of the week One of the best things to happen to this club under Venkys. He cared and he took on roles that modern coaches like JDT wouldnt Unfortunately I suspect Mowbray’s health has meant he will not be able to do what he did here again. Let’s remember him fondly though - he left this club in a far better state than he found it and was one of the core reasons both JDT and Eustace could have a proper go at it 3 5 Quote

That first JDT year was Mowbrays squad. I had always hoped Mowbray wanted to move upstairs with us. We’d be in a better state if he was still involved 3 2 1 Quote
Dolly blue Posted Friday at 16:57 Posted Friday at 16:57 If we were to sign anyone in this window , it would, in my opinion, be wasted money. Ismael is a negative, uninspiring, lacking in enthusiasm and lacking in ability man. He looks miserable, his players perform like , they too , are miserable …why add more misery to any incoming addition? 1 Quote

And yet there have been several games, where I have thought they showed effort and enthusiasm and were clearly playing for him. I think the ( recruitment induced) shallow squad and consequent rake of injuries have seen the realisation in tired players (and manager?) that they were merely cannon fodder to the likes of Wrexham. Players aren't daft. They can see what Suhail and Gestede are up to. 2 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted Sunday at 18:23 Posted Sunday at 18:23 If my maths are correct this imposter has won four out of nineteen home games since joining the Club. The choice is simple imo: 1) Stick with him but accept we'll be relegated to League 1 OR 2) Roll the dice, bring someone else in and TRY to get out of it. 1 Quote

You’re still looking it it through a logical lens, when we don’t operate logically. Who’s gonna sack him? He’s doing exactly what Gestede and Pasha want him to, they aren’t interested in success, only reducing costs. Football here isn’t played on grass, it’s played on excel. 8 Quote

Waggy76 Posted Sunday at 19:01 Posted Sunday at 19:01 It will be interesting to see if the club hierarchy are serious about staying up. Theres a distinct lack of footballing ability and nous in the squad. Throw into the mix Val, making it a complete French farce! 4 championship quality players are needed, all fit and ready to go! If not we get relegated! 4 home wins in 19 games and he thinks this squad has quality! He is a complete tool! Quote
