Gestede & Pasha need fucking pelting at the next home game! They should be getting a boat load of shit for 90 mins as the bare minimum.

I would do but I’ll be putting my ST aside and making a bigger point by staying away for one game. It isn’t a lot to ask, no guarantee of it doing anything but I need to feel like I have done something rather than just sitting there for another 90 minutes in the Ewood morgue, while Pasha fiddles and Blackburn Rovers burns !

The removal of VI doesn't solve all problems, far from it, but his coaching is poor. The missing players,  and quality of them relative to our squad, would impact any side. That is unquestionable.  However when you are struggling to win, simple logic is make yourselves hard to beat. There's been no sign of that at all under him. Mind you it didn't help selling your most consistent and best centre back and replacing him with a midfielder or right wing back who you want to convert to a cb.

Whilst I do agree the problem ultimately lies higher up..  We have had the privilege of some pretty good managers: Mowbray, JDT, Eustace.. I'm sorry,  but we'd absolutely not be in the state we're in now with any of those if they were being backed in the same manner...

Ismael needs ejecting pronto- he is awful.  HIs record is absolutely abysmal, roll the dice- bomb him out.

Warnock, Allardyce, Bruce, Rowett.. I'd even take Mowbray back.

I don't think sacking him will make any difference because of the idiots above him, but I still want him sacked on principle, no one should be rewarded for performing this badly.

What is VI’s actually preferred formation?

I can’t remember, we went to three at the back because of Cantwell’s injury and our general injury issues? But now we’ve stuck rigidly to it ever since.

I’m not saying our woeful results are purely a formation issue; I just don’t think he has a clear idea of how best to set the team up.

We started with 4-2-3-1.

I've had a one or two beverages and have come to conclusion that Ismael is on the right tracks. Whilst results are going against us we've been very unlucky, we're dominating games and have a clear style and pattern to our play. Whilst some of our signings haven't yet 'clicked', they've shown enough to make me believe that we'll not only be safe, but next season mount a serious challenge.

Are those beverages shoe polish based?

There's no rational reason to get rid of Big Val. He's doing a belting job.  Lots of promising signs.

Are you sure you've not been on the Class A?

Could the right tracks involve us threatening the opposition goal? I think Ipswich had more on target today than we've had in the last 5 games

It’s a tough game no doubt about it but the 3-5-2 is absolutely eye bleeding unless you have two dangerous WBs. TGH and DeNeve both atrocious. Baradji zero interest today, Cantwell in a slump, even Tronstad was sloppy today, a couple of unfortunate goals today and a blatant penalty turned down. It’s all going against us, and Vals list reeks of the “poor me” attitude, and it’s reflective on the players.

Val deserved that today for continuing with the hapless Hendrickson. My god.

Val needs the boot regardless, get someone in here that has a chance of keeping us up, cause if we go down we won’t be back here, let alone premier league. They are gonna write a book about this tragedy in 30 years.

So predictably it seems there is a clique of people out there who are against removing Ismael because 'we wouldn't / couldn't get anyone better' and the usual challenges to people to name options who would realistically come here and do a better job than Ismael in these circumstances.

It's more or less the same rationale people come out with for not calling for Venkys out, because they've convinced themselves that there's no other owner or group in the world who could bring more to the party than Venkys. Suggesting those clamouring for a Regime change should first name who would be interested in buying Rovers (of course that's impossible).

So presumably then we are just supposed to sit back and enjoy the ride, unable to change anything about the rotten ownership and management of the club because we are the only club in the world that cannot attract new or better ownership or management. It seems part of this is based on prospective managers / owners not going into the media and declaring an interest in Rovers.

Such a shame that some people are so negative in their view of Rovers and performance of the club that there is such insistence that this is the best we can hope for. Just accept it and get on with your life.

I almost wish I could have such an attitude but I can't. You see in professional support that sort of attitude is unacceptable. There is always a way to improve and get better and you should never accept failure no matter what the causes.

Of course we can do better and after today I think he should go

My issue is it will still be Gestede ,Owen and Pasha picking the next guy so can we really expect much better to be brought in?

The replacement will still have to read from the same script as Ismael and it will be a similar desperado like Karanka or they will gamble on Vignal from the under 23s.

Gestede and Owen should be out the door with him. They chose him and they have led the way with this data led approach to a raft of cheap and shit signings.

Any owner with any interest in "their" club would be asking serious fucking questions be surprised if ours even know we are a point outside the bottom 3

My prediction is that 'they' will sit back and do absolutely nothing until relegation is confirmed.

Then when word gets back to India about another relegation delivered and another £10 million hole in the coffers it will be Gestede and Owen who get the blame at that point and are axed. Dogsbody Suhail will survive though ready to deliver the next incarnation in League One.

I don't think they'll try the laptop / continental approach next time, instead it will be academy focus and probably Johnson left to oversee it, knowing full well he'll get patience from the remaining fans due to his background, but most importantly he will be the cheap option again.

Another about turn on projects will of course take time to offload the dross Rudy has saddled us with but we like the 'churn' at Ewood with a revolving door of staff and players. All helps towards the '£20 million a year' needed.
