Hasta Posted yesterday at 13:34 Posted yesterday at 13:34 As per my earlier posts, I'm going to have a stab they will look at Lee Bowyer. Quote

John Eustace anyone (has form for taking on basket cases) Give it to the U21s manager or Damien Johnson for me.. Kenny. Quote

It'll just be another bargain basement proven failure who's cheap because no other bugger will go near him. BTW, a transfer deadline day sacking is really clever. This has the feel of them panicking. He should never have been appointed, but given that he was, he shouldn't have lasted this long. 3 Quote

Tugay-is-God Posted yesterday at 13:37 Posted yesterday at 13:37 Would be very surprised if Mowbray considered coming back. Quote
JHRover Posted yesterday at 13:37 Posted yesterday at 13:37 If we were a competent outfit with a plan and strategy I'd want us to be going and speaking to Savage at Forest Green, Challinor at Stockport, Skubala at Lincoln and Clough at Mansfield and seeing what they would be looking for to come here. I can't see us paying compensation or offering employed managers anywhere near the levels of assurance or backing they would need/want to leave their current jobs. 2 Quote

Jørgensen, Afolayan and Cashin. For me the most important thing was to sack the manager as I have had no trust in him keeping us up. Quote
Popular Post Jimmy612 Posted yesterday at 13:38 Popular Post Posted yesterday at 13:38 Whilst most fans wanted Ismael gone, we should note that it's deadline day, and this squad still needs help. Is it beyond the realms that VI was told no more incomings and he's told them to shove it? Or maybe, following his comments regards Alebiosu not leaving, Rovers have accepted a bid. This circus has dragged us all away from the main feature of the day. We need a striker! 11 1 Quote
JamieUK Posted yesterday at 13:39 Posted yesterday at 13:39 FFS - Karanka signed Gestede for Middlesborough. He has a role of 'Technical Director of Development for the Senior Men’s Team' for Spain. Development goes hand in hand with the shite going on here... It's written in the stars.. 2 1 Quote

This circus has dragged us all away from the main feature of the day. We need a striker! More likely they've calculated that the cost of removing Ismael and Whitehead and giving someone else a contract to the end of the season is cheaper than seriously strengthening the squad and will distract people from a lack of quality additions. 2 Quote
Kjell Posted yesterday at 13:41 Posted yesterday at 13:41 Limited players need simple instructions and a great motivator, preferably with tactical acumen and good game management. Over to you, Rudy... Quote
Blue&WhiteArmy Posted yesterday at 13:42 Posted yesterday at 13:42 I'm delighted he's gone but the anxiety is well and truly setting in thinking about who's next... Hoping for a decent surprise... or a miracle, 100% expecting disappointment. 2 Quote
arbitro Posted yesterday at 13:43 Posted yesterday at 13:43 In the terse statement it doesn't mention anyone taking over in a caretaker capacity which is strange given we have a game tomorrow. My guess is that Ismael was actually relieved of his duties on Saturday and in the interim a new manager has agreed terms and will be announced soon. 4 Quote
DutchRover Posted yesterday at 13:43 Posted yesterday at 13:43 Only at Blackburn would we place ourselves in a position where we sack or let manager walk on deadline day after spending the whole month planning for him to be in charge and building squad accordingly. Make no mistake he is deservedly gone, but if that was the case it needed done two week ago and new man brought in with time to change squad. Now the new manager can say "nothing I could do, no time to get in bodies we need" and Suhail will have an excuse not to fire them when we get relegated. Not to mention anyone who will come to us now will probably be worse than Ismael... 2 Quote

JPTSwindon Posted yesterday at 13:44 Posted yesterday at 13:44 Rovers connections... Duff or Savage. (Big Sam would turn us down). Cheap option... Damian Johnson (to be fair has earnt a shot?). Fantasy option... Don Mackay. Even cheaper option... Me, I managed to get Rovers promoted at the 1st time of asking on FM26 (and about to get us relegated straight back!) Reality - God help us! Quote
JHRover Posted yesterday at 13:44 Posted yesterday at 13:44 I think Ismael knew the game was up at full time Saturday hence his comment about making a change. Probably had a meeting with the stooges in the lead up and was told his days were numbered. Quote
