Bohinen1983 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Is it acceptable to crack open a nice cold cider for this one given the weather? 3 Quote

West Yorks Rover Posted March 8 Posted March 8 (edited) Hard to be confident about this if you look at the form table : Derby last 8 at Home W 2 D 1 L 5 F 6 A 7 -1 Rov last 8 Away W 2 D 1 L 5 F 6 A 10 -4 Plus they are desperate for the points, i'm not sure we are. Andy Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Genuinely recognise 1 or 2 of that Derby team, whereas (barring Pears) we have a strong side out. Don't give them anything early and we should win this quite comfortably. Also, no Nyambe, thankfully. Quote
Bethnal Posted March 8 Posted March 8 That’s the lineup I’d have picked, but - ironically - that fills me with no extra confidence, as it’s become clear this season that I don’t know as much about football as I thought I did. Despite being a general fan of Cantwell, I’m glad he’s not starting today, as we need to be at it early and he doesn’t instigate early on. Nothing better than getting an early one against a side that will have very little belief at the minute. Getting two and there’s every chance they crumble. I do wonder how many defeats in the bounce Eustace will be allowed before the crowd eventually turns. They’ve not looked too bad apart from the QPR game, but what little belief there is will be fragile and Eustace is currently experiencing a new manager splat that could become terminal with a heavy defeat at some point. Hopefully that’s today. Quote
moerpho Posted March 8 Posted March 8 That away shirt is gastly. Who came up with pink? Waggot? Well ta-de-da Quote
Bethnal Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Everything I said earlier about getting an early one also applies to us, so we know how this is going 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Jesus fucking Christ. Of all the fucking gifts to give a team so down on their luck. That'll be game over. Quote
SpaceBarSlam Posted March 8 Posted March 8 FFS. They're going to have their heads up now and JE is the master of defending a 1-0 lead. Quote
