Where is the actual evidence of that ?

Seems the local press are working on assumption and even if so it's literally a few months difference why wasn't he offered something a good 18 months ago ?

Some will just ignore the obvious constantly in order to blame the player, they can only turn down a contract when they are OFFERED one in the first place and there has NEVER been any talk of Brittain turning down an offer or stalling on one !

The evidence is from Elliot Jackson who said talks were opened in December. Then confirmed by literally 13 different media and reporters I don’t know if you are doing the ostrich head in the ground but this was has been public and well documented so no idea where you are grabbing your news fromΒ

It's the current model - sell and replace with cheaper options.

The only remit Pasha has these days is to save Venky's money.Β  Β

Won’t be easy for Pasha two years down the road though. Now he’s actually got some quality players to sell who generate fees, will be a different story then.

Maybe not the same scenario but there are shades of the Anderson/Kean manoeuvres here again over the last 18 months with such a turnover of staff seemingly forced or encouraged on purpose.

When they potted Allardyce the established players went mad and he pacified them by handing out one year extensions then before those extensions kicked in they manipulated them towards the exit door grabbing what they could for some along the way.

The aim .. reduce the wage bill for the owners and bring in some money for the black hole coupled with their commission to get rid and bring in cheaper.

There is definitely a forced turnover happening again here even in the backroom staff etc and the aim is the same, reduce wages, grab money, bring in cheaper all across the board.

Who is on commission this time though.

Not a lot has changed in 15 years. Same Β people in the background driving the agenda.

Yes but why wouldn't the club tell Jackson that? Surely that puts all the conspiracies to bed, it makes you think is this privy telling the truth?Β

In fairness, he didn't say that they were offered contracts at anywhere close to market value

I can well believe that

Not sure that's the case, he confirmed we offered a new contract to try and convince him to stayΒ

Did he? I don’t recall him saying that, but it’s a long while since I’ve seen the podcasts he did after he left.

If he sounds like an ITK, writes with the authority of an ITK he is usually a bullshitter.

This window has seen them grow exponentially. One even mocks up any linked player up in a Rovers shirt to try and make his nonsense more convincing.

For many reasons I'll be glad when August is done and these people hibernate until January.

So like i said there have been NO mention of an actual offer and it being turned down ?

You are ignoring what the players themselves have said just to suit your own narrative and believing Jackson and Nixon who in turn have offered nothing more than the throwaway lines 'talks' . Not offers not refusals but 'talks'.... which could mean nothing more than 'yes we want to keep you we'll sort it out in a few months'.

Meanwhile several players have spoke to the press themselves out of their own mouths and said they want to stay but haven't had talks yet or been offered anything yet.Β  They've practically been using the media to stir the club into offering them an actual new contract.

But yeah the LT and Nixon _ repeatedly wrong - are your bible over the players themselves.

Who's the ostrich here ????

Sheffield Wednesday and Hull might rival us if their transfer bans hold up.Β  All 3 of the promoted teams look strong this season, and the other teams from low down the table last season like Oxford, PNE & Derby have strengthened too

Not looking good at all.

What was the name of that North East agent on twitter well in with the club and defending the owners and blaming fans for everything ?

This account reeks of him.

Going off what I have seen across platforms regarding Baradgi is that he has gone to another country to take a medical as different nation have leniency to specific medical conditions. The main difference between uk and others is chronic illnesses. Just a theory, but information stating he could still be signed over the weekend after stumbling block. Higher insurances, different fee, have to wait and see

To be fair, I think without names its unremarkable. The Brittain one would be the scoop to be able to stop living off the Rhodes one he apparently came up with. Getting a bit old that. I really hope its true.

@roversfan99Β have just served a 2 day posting ban for defending myself against a cretinous individual so I will refrain from dissing you.

You say 'without names' - well you got one with JRC and before reported anywhere else (took Jackson almost 2 days to even confirm).Β  Posted about a 2nd signing before reported anywhere else - I was given the player (Baradji) but given sensitivities (other clubs' interest) didn't reveal.

Told Brittain was 'done and dusted' and the club's plan was to announce along with the 2 new signings prior to Stanley game.Β  Clearly, a spanner has been thrown into the works with subsequent offers from Derby and Middlesbrough and whether a new contract has been signed or not is now irrelevant as I think it's clear he views other clubs as better options and wants away.

As for your comment "stop living off the Rhodes one" - I don't 'live off' anything connected to Rovers.Β Β I post on here in good faith both with opinions and also anything I may 'hear' that could be posted on a MB (some things I hear can't be posted for obvious reasons).Β  Some things I post prove to be correct (another being Battersby & associates attempts to buy into Rovers some years ago - took media 3 or 4 days to catch up on that one) and some things I post don't happen - such is football!
