Those quotes from Ismael in the LT read like just the beginnings of the next head coach to fall foul of the way Rovers is run as a club.

Before too long he'll be just as fed up as JDT and Eustace became in the end....it wouldn't be at all a surprise, and I'm not even that fond of Ismael.

It feels like every season its a messy summer followed by a new years implosion.

I'll be amazed if he's here beyond next summer.

Of course it'll be all his fault if he does leave and lets face it he won't get potted even if we don't win one game in the first ten.

Yep.

Also, in the dog eat dog world of modern football, a club can get a reputation for being an easy target. Clearly, CB and his agent are working with Boro to get him out at a cut price.

A part of me hopes Venky's hold the line on price!

A cut price?

We're the ones that have let his contract run down.Β

Well Pears and Toth may attracting other clubs...

Toth isn't going anywhere unless he misses his missus, unless of course someone like FerencvΓ‘ros are asking.

But it’s still an attractive job.

A very competitive league with a half decent squad at a historic club.

Any manager worth their salt should think they can do a good job.

Especially one that has taken a hit on their reputation recently.

Why would they?

The last two managers have been cut off at the knees.Β

Even a reference to the guy we signed on Thursday being able to come in and play straight away from VI

Not exactly a reassuring answer that they'll be bringing anyone else in, "no rush"

New guy and Montgomery it is then.

Interesting interview that, cheers. Most important thing I took from it was him saying, more than once, that they're paying for mistakes from the past.Β

Quite a candid interview as well, he didn't shirk anything .Β Β

That’s what all our new employees say. If they want to know the common denominator, Ask Suhail.

Seemed different to me this one.Β

For the points I have already made.

Championship jobs are sought after. One good season could propel you into the playoffs/Premier League and failing that a stepping stone to a bigger job.Β

I would say it may be Ismael's last chance and he really needs success for his own future

It won’t be. Eustace wanted to renew contracts and the club wouldn’t (or couldn’t). I don’t believe Ismael suddenly has significant clout.

Rudy has been in situ for 12 months so it’s already his fault anyway, although I suspect his hands are tied.

I don't see it as Ismael having clout,I see it as him understanding the situation and being willing and able to work with it.

If not, it'll soon unravel.Β

A good, honest interview from Ismael. It sounds like he has resigned himself to Brittain going and goes in quite hard about the Travis and Tronstad situation.

It's really frustrating that history just keeps repeating itself with these morons running our club.

I think we have got another good manager but unfortunately, like the last two, he will be undone by Pasha and his appointed stooges. The owners, Pasha and stooges are actively killing our football club, surely enough is enough.

Before the window is done... Trav will be at Derby and Tronstad will leave.Β

Β

Reinvested... It will be dressed up as 2 million but will probably be less.Β

Β

Roll up and buy your season tickets folks. We're spending money.Β

Lots of things can be true and exist at the same time.Β

For me it’s quite simple, fuck the owners, fuck the way they β€˜run’ the club, and fuck any player unprofessional enough to down tools and force a move.Β
Β

Slightly uncouth and blunt maybe but so be it, the lad will move on, but I won’t particularly wish him well and would have a wry smile if it went tits up for him.Β

Absolutely

He also basically said that the lad we signed this week was Brittain'sΒ  replacement.

Ask yourself a simple question.

Why do the Raos seemingly refuse to entertain any potential sale of Rovers?Β  IMO, they are sh1t scared of something.

Everyone is looking at the signboard but not the constant behind it......Suhail and Kentaro

He didn’t, he said he wasn’t going to rush into getting another RB because he had bought a new signing.Β

The Championship is loco, you could say that about any manager and be right more often than not.Β

Batth - Last seasons best centre defender = Gone

Weimann - Last seasons second top scorer = Gone

Dolan - Young potential talent and second half of last seasons most livewire presser/attacker = Gone

Brittain - One of the leagues best RWB's last season = Going

Travis - Hearbeat of the dressing room, leading ankle biter on the pitch, captain = Likely to be wanting out soon.

Tronstad = Last seasons best midfielder = See above.

It's ALL the various players fault and the fans need to stop moaning whilst we scour relegated obscure Euro clubs for replacements.

Such a real post...This literally needs pasting to everyone who has any incline of defending this regime.

It just not normal!Β
