this one will go the same way as keersmaecker, baradji and mannsverk,no way are we paying for a half decent player

Ever seen him play? Hes not exactly in that categoryΒ

A couple of years ago when he was at Vitesse, Jonathans would have been well beyond us, but injury and not quite kicking on meant he got shunted to Utrecht on the cheap. Wouldn't be opposed as a buy-low if he is over injury.

Maybe Sonny can put a word in. Contract situation aside.

Now if these new links are anything to go by we are already deviating from the alleged remit.Β  Neither defender is left footed, neither particularly tall or powerful.Β  The right winger is a left footed right winger.Β  Don't think we need one of those - as Hedges does that. Doesn't look strong or quick from his clips.Β

To be fair Hedges does nothing in the final third.Β

Depends if the surgery went well, surely? It's 2025, not 1982 - modern medicine has advanced an awful lot.Β

Has anything this person has alleged this summer actually come off? I've lost track.

Most of it seems Fantasy Island stuff.

He’s updated recently. He’s covering all angles!

Flog Callum, nasty snake turning on the club!Β

Oh well, we can use the money on Baradji

Hey look Travis wants the big bucks for little Wrexham, he must be fame hungry

Thankfully we've have Hungary's number one midfielder en routeΒ

Oh no - their nasty agents have shopped them around to behemoths of Portsmouth and Amiens.Β Β

Ah well, bought my season ticket now - just get behind the lads ffs!!

Difficult to say since Allsvenskan is a quite poor league when compared to the Championship. The intensity is lower and the players have more time on the ball. Maybe someone like Hyam would be a dominant force in Allsvenskan, who knows?

RΓΆsler is definitely not a standout player like for example Ahmedhodzic was when he played in Allsvenskan. RΓΆsler did win his previous club's (MjΓ€llby AIF) player of the year award in 2023. Maybe he could adapt and be a good player for us. MalmΓΆ FF is a wealthy club and would probably want a big fee to sell him so I don't think it will happen.Β

Sounds a bit underwhelming. When targetting players from weaker foreign leagues you want them to be stand out or close to.

De Neve didnt seem to be, surprising journalists with his move. Tavares was in and out at his mid table team and Alebiosu was surplus to requirements, although did admittedly have a productive loan spell in Scotland. It seems the motive to go abroad is purely to reduce costs.

Seems like it is only an enquiry at this stage, and to be fair its not like you have said he is a bad player, just not stand out or that you are sure he could do it at this level. How is he for pace and what is he like in the air?

Exactly, the sort of thing Nixon does. Comes up with an unlikely story, then when nothing happens claims it's run into a problem etc.

Then whatever happens, he's never wrong.

He or she is learning well!
