Makes sense to have a specialist S&C coach considering the way Val plays.Β

Hopefully Nacho’s a recipe for success.

There is no long term at Rovers. We live from week to week, maybe even day to day.

That can't be right.

What about 'The Project?' 🀣

He's a really, really good Championship LB. He could probably make the step up into the bottom third of the PL.

However, sadly he's a bit of a crock.

He got injured because he was playing too many games back to back. Just like most of our squad last season. We rushed him back. And that finished his season.Β
We’ll see if he’s crock this coming season.

Missed 11 of 37 league games for Dundee with injury alsoΒ

He played 3 games for us then suspended for 3

then played 4 games in a row missed the next twoΒ

then participated in the next 16 / 13 starts and 3 from the bench then missed the rest of the season pretty much with the hamstring injuryΒ

Could be unlucky def could changed but in two seasons of senior football with different clubs in different leagues missing 27 odd games over the two seasons with injury would be concerning

It’s good that they β€˜understand’ this, quite and exclusive given he’s been in videosΒ

I always thought "project" was correct for a short term piece of work.

Speaking as a trained and qualified project manager I totally agree. A well-run project has a start and end. It also has an agreed set of objectives and ways to measure those ongoing once the project has been delivered.

An ongoing project with no end is a bad one. That's not to say they don't exist and I've been involved in a few in my time - usually involving the introduction of tech.

What people in football refer to as a 'project' should really be referred to as a 'programme' as that can be ongoing and has multiple phases (projects) within it.

What is going on at Rovers doesn't seem to satisfy any of the above - I think the technical term is 'clusterfuck'. And I've been involved in a few of those as wellΒ πŸ˜„

The project is keeping this gravy train going for our Execs as long as possible before admin sets in.

He was sent back from his loan at Bolton due to injury. He also got injured when in Scotland.

His injury issues didn't just appear when he signed here
