I am like others a bit confused about how we fit all of Tavares, Henricksson, Cantwell, Travis and Tronstad into three roles. And I guess Baradji if he signs.

If last season taught us anything, should anything happen to Trav or Tronstad then we are screwed in there.

Depth is much needed., if the new lads are any good then everyone has to fight for there place.

Coventry looking to spend 7.5 million on Hull city's Charlie Hughes.  Whilst we're scraping around for bargain basement signings.  That'll be another play off place taken

5 players for 3 positions. It’s a very long season, we’re light if anything. Hope we can retain all as well as picking up Barajdi.

Play off's aren't the aim.

So we're fine.

We desperately need a full back or winger who can cross, for all the talk of a pacy or goalscoring winger we're neglecting how many chances Gueye got as a result of Brittain whipping the ball in (first or second phase). An ability to regularly get quality deliveries in to the box is what worries me most if we're going with Ohashi and Gueye as our forward options. I'm sure getting Kargbo in behind will initially catch teams unawares but they'll quickly work that out and starve us off space in behind, at which point we need a plan B to make the most of our other attacking assets. Brittain created 45 chances last season, that is going to take some replacing

Credit where it’s due Rudy is doing well with some decent permanent signings, at a good age with potential to develop.

We’re not there yet with another month to go in the window but it’s shaping up to be a good season. Common sense, a clear plan and forward thinking is prevailing (for now) with the grubby slimy little bean counter Waggott & the snake John Eustace out of the door.

Far too many for me - even without Baradji.

I do expect Travis to be sold though.

Axel reminds me a mix of Glen Hoddle & David Platt for his being at the right spot at the right time … He loves to shoot from distance can’t remember anyone else having a pop since Hignett … He looks so easy on the eye … Is not afraid to get stuck in from his high yellow card ratio which is a must for the championship…. Excited by the new signings & the ones to come hopefully

Only De Neve looks a bit iffy but hopefully he proves me wrong …. Right winger who can score goals more then pacy winger is needed  and if am being greedy a striker ….Michal Cairney & Piotr Sadowski Adam Owen Rudy Gestede have done a decent job with the budget they been given …All the players seem to be happy & proud  to play for Blackburn and that is an important ingredient as Ismael requested ….. We Wee with the wee Willy we currently have …

Does Piotr have any ideas for a goal scoring right winger/striker

If you're impressed, that gives me a little bit of hope.

The good news is we can now debunk fake ITKs very quickly. If the player linked isn’t at least 6 ft 1, they’re not even on the long list.

Anyone fancy providing a little positivity?

I for one can't wait to be back on Ewood, cheering on the boys. I know I'll get irritated the second the guy two rows behind me calls the first player who misses a pass a "f*ckin' silly c*nt" even though they were saying before kick off how we need to get behind the boys regardless of the ownership.

I like the signings we've made and understand why we need to let players go (I wish we didn't have to), and am much more positive this season than to last season.

Would also say between ages of 21-24 there seems to be a plan in action. If it’s stuck to or not is a different question. It’s good model but risky one

CB, RW and ST still worry me.

If they can keep the squad together with the current additions and add the above, we might be on to something this season.

I still want to see some better money thrown at two key positions... be it centre back, right wing or a striker.

I'm also pleased I won't be watching Dolan this season. Sorry to those whom that may offend.

Anyone over 6’1” must by definition be on the long list…I’ll get my coat…

Carter, Hyam, Wharton, McLoughlin

and at a push Miller and Pickering can all play cb

id rather have st and rw

I'm surprised they want another CB according to Elliot.

I thought Miller might have been a "two in one" deal and cover both RB and CB.

Agreed that winger and striker should be the priorities now.

At a push we've got the 2 young lads at CB as well.

6 options.

Good to get another body ticked off. Elliiott Jackson seems to think he is seen as an attacking midfielder and that makes the most sense. Not some elaborate plan to shove him wide, and we already have options further back. We need cover/competition for Cantwell now Weimann has gone.

Now the priority has to be to improve the forward line. Even if it means putting the remaining funds on a right winger which is most important and then loaning 1 or 2 more, including a striker. And we obviously still have a massive contract problem.

When you are signing cheap punts from abroad its always a bit of a lottery. De Neve didnt pull up any trees at left back for a relegated Belgian side and they seem shocked that we came in, so you are hoping that a change in position might suit his attributes and he can push on. Alebiosu couldnt even get in that side but hopefully a good half season loan in Scotland is what he needed to push on. Tavares made a poor move to Porto having been highly rated at Leicester and just ended in their B Team barring an unsuccessful brief loan in the MLS. He wasnt a regular when he moved to Morinense but he clearly was highly rated 2 or 3 years ago so you are left hoping that he can push on and get back on track.

I dont know why but compared to those 3, this one seems slightly different. He has only played 1 and a half seasons at any top level but his career seems to have been continiously on the up and fans of GAIS seem to unanimously love him.

Miller also seems to be seen as a loss to Hibs fans. Talk about him being better as a right centre back is a concern, and obviously he is filling massive shoes and I dont expect him to be on par with Brittain. But theres enough to be hopeful that he can do a job at this level and also keep improving.

I dont think you would want to be chucking in kids unless they stood out like Phillips.

Although I agree it shouldnt be a priority.
