He could cross a ball, from what I remember, and had fairly tricky feet, but a bit of a sicknote. Trouble is though, aren't Rovers now known in the English game as being a club in some kind of crisis, low-balling wages and creating waves for anyone above the ridiculously low bar that has been set for paying new recruits. As a result, I'd be very surprised if a player would care to drop down from a newly promoted prem club, to a crisis club complete with toxic atmosphere, inept management and completely uninterested owners, where there is no evidence at all that things are going to change for the better in the short, medium or long term... 49, in all competitions, in 3 seasons. With 3 goals (2 in the league). 23 appearances and 0 goals in his last 2 seasons.

He has a total of 89 career appearances and 6 goals, according to Wiki. At the age of 25.

(Although the goals column is even dubious when I look closer, as the goals actually shown add up to 5 not 6, and 2 of those are for City U21s in the EFL Trophy)

Poveda's best season was at Blackpool, but even then he only managed 26 appearances, which was his highest tally to date. There's definitely talent there but his body his saying no I can't be arsed.

Ian Poveda the lad they sign on loan from Leeds for  12 months for 20 grand a week then fail to insert any clause relating to what happens if he gets injured.

He does, so he has to go back to Leeds for treatment as per contract but Rovers still have to pay 20k a week for a year !

Incompetence doesn't even begin to cover it and that was under Venus and Mowbrays watch.

No wonder we never went anywhere under them i dread to think what money was spaffed on loans and wages for next to nothing in return.

I think it was reported we were paying £10k p.w. at the time but your point is still perfectly valid, it was ridiculous.

Yep, when the truth is we are willing to risk vital points tomorrow with having a stronger squad for the sake of hustling for another £250k for Trav. Whilst also waiting another few weeks for clubs to be more desperate to off load players for cheaper.

Quietest it's been with actual transfer links in a long time.

Only bit I can see is Nixon replying to someone on X that it's "painfully and ridiculously slow" when asked about incomings.

It’s why I think baradji is the main one but can’t/wont happen until Travis is gone 

and the right winger in Miyoshi there’s no slots left meaning they have messed that up and are now scrambling

15% of any profit

Not sure if that will be on the original fee (£18M), or whatever it has risen to by the time he is sold (which I think £22M was the cap)
