stoke did`nt think phillips  was worth putting a bid in and they usually spend in the off season, not going to be the star that was claimed is he

The talk i saw from Stoke fans was that they would love to have him back in any capacity if possible, but there was no way on earth they could afford him

"our primary target has to be replacing him with another behemoth, either permanent or on loan. Without that Phillips replacement, we're gonna leak goals like an incontinent pensioner."

"Good CB and big career ahaead. Good luck to him. Seemed he cared when he was here to. Which i like."

"Would love to see Phillips back next season as he was the stand out defender last season IMO. Can’t see it happening though, however would hate to see him team up with Souttar at Sheff Utd as we’d be looking on thinking of what might have been."

People were talking about this lad being a generational talent before he left us. Clearly not even close.

Or he chose the wrong club to go to.

We are relying on no competitors coming in for Kapuadi. Could be this summer’s De Lange. He seems to have good pedigree and if he’s interested in coming to us we need to get it sorted.

I agree we need get this sorted soon. Don't know much about the player either

Nixon talking about Phillips being whored out again - this time to Sheffield United.

Everyone could see it coming when he went to Spurs.

Sheffield United wants to buy him for £6m

Sunday and not even Nixon can throw a loose bit of Rovers transfer tittle tattle.  Surely we can't be waiting for the loan market already.

He did his Rovers story earlier 3 days earlier which was Steve Kapuadi bid from Rovers.

Kaminski going to Charlton. Very good signing for them.

very strange move and I thought he wanted a move back to Belgium.

Would I take him back here? No I wouldn't.

He is miles better than Pears and Toth hasnt proven to be better than him just yet, Kaminski is a very good Championship keeper.

But it wasnt about Rovers anyway.

I console myself that i don't support Sheffield Wednesday. That is a storied club about to disappear before our very eyes.

I'll make a bet now that they'll be in a better situation than is 5 years from now.

Kaminski was a good keeper for us and he deserve a move to PL but not sure moving to Charlton is a wise move for him, Charlton Deffo

What has any of this got to do with you saying that you wouldn’t want him back - despite (I predict) the rest of us being unanimously agreeing he’s significantly better than both keepers we have now?

I don't mind Toth at all, I think with more gametime, he'll develop into a decent GK at this level.
Calamity...I think it's clear how I feel about him.

TK is streets ahead of both and was probably Luton's best player in their solitary season in the Prem.

Not sure it would be unanimous.

I liked Kaminski here but he was hardly flawless, particularly towards the end of his time here. Last season he dropped a fair few clangers too.

However it's a bit early to say how good Toth is, but he's definitely warmed on me.

1m is cheap for Kaminski even if he is 32 though.

It won't disappear. Nobody has disappeared. They might have a couple of horrible years and might go down to League One but at the end of it will be rid of Chansiri and will get bought by someone better.

They'll then be able to rebuild just like so many others have done under new engaged ownership.

As OssyDave says he makes mistakes last season.

No I wouldn't him back. I would like see more of Toth now,

Kaminski made a couple of mistakes in those last games before the injury he had that was hindering him finally became impossible to play with.

Prior to that, he had been excellent in that season. And had already got a previously earnt player of the season.

Recency bias makes people talk about him as if he was constantly making mistakes.

Kaminski had issues with the new style of play as did the whole back line but that seems to have been erased from memory all of a sudden.

Clearly affected him and led to some howlers but he still only lost his place through injury.

To admit that you would rather have either of our current keepers over TK is to admit that in your eyes the club can do no wrong.

Fwiw I quite like Toth, but let's be objective about this.

If the club was in any way a real football club then they would have Toth and Kaminski fighting it out for the number 1 jersey.

Kaminski was good but he didn't command his area in any way that I would deem good enough.

I think Toth will come out a good one, he made it obvious when he arrived that he was here to be the main man and prove it. No doubt he'll have a great season and be sold for less than half his actual value. The club will then plead poverty and the usual lemmings will be telling us that we got a good deal.

I'm just keen to see how long big Val will last. I reckon he won't see out the season.
