Not a big deal but they should release the CATs before a ball is kicked. They quietly moved the goalposts on that last season so it would be pointless. Anyone who might suddenly be expected to bring more than a thousand because they are doing well it'll switch from C to B. I also notice they've structured the DE into different prices per various section now, showing some brains at last to squeeze more money out of visiting support. Edited July 8 by Tomphil2 1 Quote

Normally apologies are sent in advance of meetings so if that's the case they should have an idea beforehand but I don't know how these meetings operate in respect of normal protocol. I'm sure I've seen pre meetings mentioned in the past too but maybe that was only for FF members. Quote

Normally Lynsey Talbot and Christina Haines would be there and I am expecting that Suhail will be there too. At the last meeting there were a lot of the management team there as well so I would expect a good turnout. A number of years ago we used to hold pre-meets for FF members to set the agenda but they fell away and completely went with covid. There was a pre-meet for this meet though, although I couldn't attend. 3 Quote

MarkBRFC71 Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Holding off getting a 'regular' season ticket for now, as weekday games are a bit of a faff to get to due to work. Last season I got the flex ticket, which having just moved back to the UK in Jan was a perfect solution. I thought I read somewhere (or maybe I imagined it?) that there was talk of doing a 15-game ST or something similar - is this based on anything factual? Quote

BenEccles_ Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Any idea how many ST's we've sold? Where's Goozburger when you need him 😅 Quote
Old Rover Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Unless something was mentioned in the meeting last week they are being vey coy about numbers sold. I believe it was just over 8000 after the early bird finished. Normally there are complementary tickets given by Blackburn Sports College to boost the numbers around this time but heard nothing about that this season. Doesn't look like the £299 early bird tickets in the Riverside tempted many. Last season only 4104 tickets were full paying adults so we will have to see if that embarrassing statistic improves but I guess they will keep quiet on the demographics as well. Quote
MarkBRFC Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Being the saddo that I am I did a little exercise on the ticket map back on June 10th. There was 9004 available seats to buy on that date. Last Friday I looked again, and there was 8681 available, which would indicate only 323 shifted in the past 5/6 weeks. Quote
alex l Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago No surprise the sales have slowed down. Marquee signings would be needed now to create interest, or a blinder of a start to the season, before they go off sale. Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Their target now has shifted from 10k to 9k and they'll probably come within a few hundred of that so they'll be happy again. Prices have been adjusted to cover the shortfall so happy days hey look Mr D we've hit our forecasts again, we are really good at this can we have that bonus ! Quote
Mattyblue Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They've done well to sell 323 more considering the ridiculous hike. Quote
