You don't buy shirts or kits anyway so you probably aren't that interesting or bothered about it or STH have first access and exclusively to the new home kit but some of us are and we are proud to wear our colours where ever we go. Maybe have a day off for criticise the club for once when it is giving us STH a benefit of being one and holding events like tonight plus getting the home kit out so early on. ROVERS 🔵⚪ 1 Quote

arbitro Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I don't know the details of the contract between Macron and Rovers but I'd take a guess and say a special one-off isn't included in it. If it isn't included then they should use some other supplier and create something which is befitting of the clubs heritage. However I don't expect anything from them as it might involve some work. 4 Quote

ROVERS 🔵⚪ I think you are currently so fixated on defending literally everything our terribly run club does at the moment that youve lost all balance, I havent even given my opinion on the shirt so how could I be criticising it? The idea that I have criticised the kit and any events for season ticket holders is purely in your head. 4 1 Quote
TommyRovers Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) It’s a nice shirt. And in any other year would have zero complaints minus the inability to remember our halves should be reversed on the back. However, I can’t be alone in thinking they had built this up to be a special shirt to celebrate 150 years. I was expecting this to be very different, just like the beautiful Port Vale strip this year. Yes, they will clearly release a special anniversary shirt at some point and the team will use it for one game but it should have been our shirt for the entire season. 150 years is a hell of a milestone to reach. Overall decent shirt, disappointed the only thing special about it is in the collar at the back of the neck. A real missed opportunity. Edited 7 hours ago by TommyRovers 3 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted 6 hours ago Backroom Posted 6 hours ago (edited) It’s ok, average, nothing special. Not great; not terrible. I’d rate it at 3.6 roentgen Edited 6 hours ago by Tom 1 Quote

Good PR. Good promotional video and the fact the home kit is on sale in mid June is another good PR for the club. And the fact it's not a Rovers kit sits where on this list? Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If the half’s had have been reversed I would have bought that shirt. Apart that grievous error I like it. 5 Quote
Hasta Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) 5 minutes ago, chaddyrovers said: please all calm down now I'm calm about the shirt. As I say, it's OK. In the grand scheme of contracts being run down, players sold to pay the bills, under-qualified buffoons running the club, season ticket prices going back up, the women's team being made redundant and the ground looking like shit, an above-average shirt is the least of our worries for our 150th year. I mean it's like Sunderland running out in horizontal red and white stripes. Other than that it's an ok kit... Quote

It's spoils the good PR and tonight's evening event for STH. I will be buying the shirt and very proud to wear my Rovers colours anywhere. COYB!!! Yeah, THAT’S what’s unacceptable, not the bog standard kit or the way our club’s name is being dragged through elephant shit in international news outlets… Quote
Backroom Tom Posted 5 hours ago Backroom Posted 5 hours ago Wonder how it leaked in the way it did, surely we have a ‘head of making sure kits don’t leak ahead of very important season ticket holder events’ on the books Quote

Don't forget we got practically live feeds from The Avenue's CCTV camera's a couple of years ago during the bizarre Fans/Players/Waggot meeting. Quote
Herbie6590 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 3 hours ago, Hasta said: Meh. It's a Rovers kit. I've seen better and seen worse. As the official formation date of Blackburn Rovers is 5th November, the club could redeem itself here by requesting to play in the home game closest to that date in a different shirt which has a proper retro feel. Then putting it on sale in the run up to Christmas as a limited edition (i.e no re-stock) But that would cost additional money on the shirt and be a risk on the stock, so unlikely. Although Yasir is probably scribbling notes as he reads this. Once again…this is what we were told in April 2024…the plan *was* for 4 kits this season…then Fraser Read left so 🤷♂️ 1 Quote

They got it as they got the club. 25 years on, just look at the state of the place. They brought a book out as well if i remember right ? Be lucky to get a tweet these days. 'A book you say ? Pah we'll only sell enough to cover costs it's not worth it we'll not make any money on it' Present attitude. Quote

So what do you think of the home kit then and will you buy it when available? Quote
roversfan99 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago As you have already said, no I wont be buying it and I havent shared an opinion of it. I dont really have a strong one, looks ok to me. Which is why your angry man yells at clouds routine of slamming "unnecessary criticism" and endless thumbs down was totally unwarranted and misplaced. Most of the time, the club does deserve criticism. Here, I havent give it any. Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I think it a lovely top, without a morally dubious sponsor and with a 150th shirt later in the year. No complaints from me. Edited 2 hours ago by Paul Mellelieu without Quote
